Located in the wonderful 55+ gated community of Portola Country Club in Palm Desert, CA. We are located only 10 minutes away from the world famous El Paseo shopping in Palm Desert. Our home offers 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, plus futon in family room for extra sleeping when needed, and all resort amenities you may expect.
The living room has vaulted ceilings, Plantation shutters, and a warm fireplace for those cool evenings. The family room has cable Television, with Plantation shutters opened to viewing the Santa Rosa mountain range. The master bedroom has a King size bed with TV and walk-in closet. The guest bedroom has a Queen size bed.
The kitchen has great counter space for preparing those gourmet meals, gas cook range and oven, and even a small convection oven to add to your kitchen amenities. In addition to a complete kitchen we also offer a full size washer and dryer, cable TV and Wireless Internet, and a Golf Cart.
Enjoy your morning coffee or an afternoon cocktail on the covered patio overlooking one of the 3 community pools. The patio has a gas Barbeque grill and dining table. The enclosed patio opens to view the landscaped common area through sliding doors or French doors where you can enjoy the warmth of the day.
The resort amenities continues in the Country Club with an 18 hole par 3 golf course, 3 pools and spas, tennis, pickle ball and bocce ball courts. GOLF CART available also. The Club house has an Exercise room, Sidewalk cafe, Pub, Library, Pool Table with Community activities available to you. A closed TV channel keeps you up to date on current events within the Country Club.
A short drive or brisk walk to Bristol Farms grocery store, Sherman’s Deli & Bakery for your catering needs, Starbucks and many more. Again a short drive to Joshua Tree National Park, College of the Desert, McCallum Theater, Fabulous Follies of Palm Springs, Casinos, Idyllwild (for art lovers!) and The Living Desert Zoo and Botanical Gardens. The San Jacinto Mountains provide a playground for hikers, rock climbers, and biking.

About the owner: I live just south of Seattle, Wa., in the same community where I grew up. I have also lived in Southern California along the coast, and found that I truly enjoy those sunny days and look forward to enjoying more of them when I can.

Once I visited with family and friends in this great vacation get away community, enjoying the warmth of the sun, I knew this was going to be a place for me and others to enjoy. And then when I looked out the kitchen window and had a view of those wonderful snow capped mountains, community swimming pool in the back yard, I felt right at home.
