The home was great for are party of 8. There was room for everyone and the rooms were huge and comfy. The house was only 2 blcoks from the beach ,restaurant and night life and the neighborhood was great! wouldnt even need a car to travel. I would definitely be staying there again.

The owner really came to my rescue when the vacation rental that I had booked 10 months in advance of Christmas sustained a roof collapse due to the terrible storms a day and a half before my family was to arrive for Christmas vacation. She prepared the house last minute for us even though she was under the weather. The house is spaceous and comfortable and allowed us a great place to come together for the holiday. The location is PRIME, just a block and a half from the beach and 3 blocks from the Pier at one of Californias most beautiful and popular beaches. The owner is a sweet as can be and I feel that I also made a friend in the process. Overall it was a total blessing.

Thank you so much for rearranging your schedule to allow our family to get together and enjoy four days at your lovely house. As our family grows (now at 11) it is very difficult to locate a place to meet and spend a few days. This house was perfect. Sleeping room for everyone, a full kitchen to prepare meals so we could eat together and perfect walking distance to the beach. Thank you so much, we would love to return again next year.

My friends and I had a great time at this place. It was in walking distance of all of the night life, the beach, and many stores. Everything was great and everyone loved the place. I am planning on staying longer next year!

Positives are that this property is very big and easily accommodated a family of five and a family of four in the same house. Also, the location is great, right near the beach and all that downtown HB has to offer. Now the negatives. The house was filthy, we had to mop it three times once we arrived and everyone's allergies seemed to be aggravated by the dust and mold. The worse part was that we had young ones between our families ranging from 2 to 8 and they witnessed a mouse in a trap scooting across the floor in front of them. If the owner was the slightest bit apologetic when we informed her of it or if we didn't find yet another mouse two days later, this wouldn't have soured the trip. But her comment was that we must not have grown up on farms. Actually all of the adults had very modest upbringings and didn't think it was too much not to expect mice or a dirty house during a long anticipated beach vacation. I personally wish the owner well, but this is no way to run a business.

WE just want to say thanks for making our vacation so "easy." It was so exciting being so close to the beach and all the activities. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable.
