  Nine family members enjoyed a week long stay at this Sullivan Island beachfront home. We were impressed with the wonderfully appointed kitchen and decor, the children's playroom, the out-door-shower, heated pool and easy walk to the beach. Prior to our visit all questions were promptly answered and our family enjoyed the nearby restaurants, coffee shop, and children's playground. Our week was perfect and we highly recommend this lovely home to others.

  This was a wonderful vacation experience staying on the front row at Sullivan's Island! The house was just as beautiful and special as the description in the listing. The owner was a delight to communicate with and handled our every need. It was the perfect house for a large familiy with 3 great Master bedrooms upstairs and 3 nice bedrooms on the lower floor along with a spacious playroom to accommodate all ages. The grounds surrounding the house provide a lovely grass yard for games and playing in addition to the beautiful brand new pool that can be heated. We felt like we were in paradise overlooking the beautiful Atlantic ocean in the distance. The property was extremely clean and well appointed and offered everything we needed. Even the sheets and pillows on the beds were high quality! Sullivan's Island is such a paradise and quaint vacation spot with plenty of local hang-outs and restaurants to satisfy any craving. We had an adult dinner at High Thyme on the island and it was superb with delicious food and a sophisticated atmosphere while still being casual. We were more than impressed with this vacation rental!!

  We had a large group and had a blast at this rental. Very clean and well planned out with lots of beds for a large group. Open kitchen and porch overlooking the new pool and beach are a huge bonus. Sullivans island is the best beach in Charleston and this VRBO is right where you want to be. We will rent this place again. Owners were helpful and only a call away at every moment.

  I stayed here with my family the week between Xmas & New Years. Nickel summary: this house is incredibly spacious, clean & filled with light due to it's southern orientation. The common areas on the main floor (kitchen, dining area, living room & reading nook) are united via an open floor plan. Each of these in tun accommodated our large family without trouble. The semi-detached two-story master suite is well away from the hustle & bustle of the main room of the house and the full basement offers additional ways for folks to be awake at differing hours without distrubing the others - definitely a plus for our stay. It is just a short stroll to the beach (the sand dunes begin at the edge of the rear lawn) where you can view the large ships entering and leaving the Charleston harbor; Fort Sumpter is also within sight in the distance to your right as you step onto the beach. As an added bonus, during our stay at low tide a small school of dolphins were hunting back & forth along a shallow sandbar about 40 feet offshore. At times they almost seemed close enough to touch. Honestly, there's nothing I found wanting during our stay. Definitely recommended.

  We just rented this house and it was even better than described. When we arrived, the house was spotless. The beds and linens were great. We had 3 families and the house is set up perfect for kids and adults. The kids have a great area downstairs with 3 bedrooms and the adults have an even better area upstairs with 3 bedrooms. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, etc. The owner went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. We will be back again next year.

  Large home with awesome yard and view. Perfect for large family get togethers and plenty of space for everyone. All the amenities one seeks and more. Short drive to Charleston, short walk to eat, drink, and play. Check in and out were painless. Would recommend to anyone!

  We had such a wonderful experience at this comfortable, beautiful home that we were talking about when we could come back again almost as soon as we got there! It has a beautiful view and a large yard where our group played football. The house has tons of room--huge kitchen with enormous island and lots of storage, fantastic screen porch overlooking the ocean (with dining table), giant dining table inside, firm and very comfy beds, all new furnishings throughout, even a foosball table (!). We were without kids but there's a great padded-floor playroom stocked with toys for kids along for the trip. It's a private spot with an easy walk to the beach--and an easy walk down the beach to Poe's, Dunleavy's, coffee shop, Taco Mamacita's, etc. Even the scent of the flowering jasmine growing on the arbor outside was such a lovely touch! We loved our stay and can't wait to go back!
