This lovely home was completely rebuilt in 2009 and offers all of the upscale amenities you could ask for. With beautiful 'Pine's Park' located a few feet away, you can take advantage of great kids playgrounds, picnic benches, BBQs or expansive, lush park grounds, overlooking the ocean. If the beach and ocean are your thing, you'll only need to walk a short distance and reach popular 'Hole in the Fence' beach. Within a mile you can head south to San Clemente or north to Dana Point Harbor and Doheny beach. With so much to see and do, you'll never want to leave. In the event you feel like just relaxing in comfort, this air-conditioned home offers three bedrooms and a large loft for comfortably sleeping of up to 10 guests. With flat screen tvs in every room, cable, Wifi, DVD player, Play Station, air hockey for kids, horse shoes, ping pong and roof top patio deck that peaks at the ocean, there's never a dull moment, unless you choose one. Downstairs is the Master bedroom, with super comfy pillow top, Eastern king size mattress and stunning French antique furnishings. Sitting area and wide screen tv, with easy access to the backyard make this room fit for a king. Also on the main floor are two additional main bedrooms, both of which offer comfortable queen size, pillow top mattresses. Upstairs is the oversized loft with two twin size trundle beds that make up into four singles or two king size beds. This light and bright home is beautifully decorated in a Polynesian motiff and feels welcoming the minute you step through the door. The kitchen and bathrooms are all upgraded with granite counters, high-end, stainless steal appliances and designer fixtures. The large great room is perfect for entertaining, with an oversized sectional sofa, slate stone fireplace, separate sitting area, desk area, wide screen tv and is conveniently near the big kitchen and separate dining room. Take the spiral staircase up to the roof top patio deck and BBQ, or just relax in the chase lounge chairs and dine on the patio set, while gazing over at the ocean. The fenced in grass backyard, with it's giant orange tree is an ideal place for kids to play or your furry friend to hang out. This home has an oversized, two car garage and driveway to fit all of your vehicles. New washer & dryer are heavy duty and 2.5 baths means nobody has to wait in line.
If your on vacation to sightseeing, then you've come to the right place. This property is within a half hour to just about everything.. i.e. Santa Ana Airport, Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Movie Land Wax Museum, LegoLand, Carlsbad Outlets, Del Mar Race Track, Orange County Market Place, Newport Beach and more. If it's Laguna Beach you'd like to visit, head north on PCH for about 10-15 minutes and you'll be in the thick of it. Or, head south for 10 minutes and be in downtown San Clemente with it's cute shops and restaurants. Historical San Juan Capistrano is only two miles up the road and Dana Point Harbor about one mile. Take the Harbor Express over to Catalina Island for a day or head to Los Angeles, Hollywood, San Diego or Palm Springs, in about an hour, for the afternoon.

We were married in Capistrano and chose this beach house because it fit us and the needs of our 8 grown children for this occasion. There was more than adequate space for the 10 of us, and we used every part of the home, kitchen & dining room, living room for game nights, backyard volleyball and roof deck for lounging. The rooms and sleeping arrangements were perfect, spacious and comfortable. Cheryl made our visit incredible from the very beginning. Once she found out this was a wedding party, she was so very helpful and went above and beyond as a landlord in recommending/helping us find a restaurant for our reception, photographer, wedding cake decorator, gazebo for the ceremony, flowers, etc. Communication was fantastic, before, throughout and after our stay. Cheryl was so very thoughtful, kind and welcoming of our family. This was a destination wedding for us, coming from Colorado, and Cheryl was so incredibly helpful to us not being from the area. The listing and photos accurately reflected the rentals appearance and amenities, it was extremely clean and well maintained, we would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives and would love to come back ourselves! It was an experience that will live in our family's hearts for ever and this very special beach house will always be a part of that. My husband, son and I rented this house and what a beautiful place! The owner has it all set up to walk in and enjoy and that we did. We have a little boy - so we used the beach supplies and high chair, porta-crib and car seat - we didn't have to bring anything. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with all the dishware, cooking utensils, and linens you could possibly need. The home is beautifully decorated and we had so much room we were able to invite more family and friends to come and stay with us - tons of sleeping space and bathrooms for everyone. The open floor plan of the main rooms is fabulous for entertaining and cooking together. We spend a lot of time socializing up on the patio and loved how close both the park and beach were to our house. It's a super clean, safe neighborhood with all kinds of choices of restaurants (we recommend Cannon's with a view of the Harbor) and services you could need. I recommend it for a family trip or reunion, or group of friends. Generous and luxurious accomodations!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

Our stay at this home was absolutely wonderful. I had my wedding down in Orange County and my in laws were coming all the way from Istanbul, Turkey to stay for the wedding. So we wanted to stay somewhere beautiful that could comfortably fir all of us. We fit 8 of us in the house with no problem. We had enough room and the fact that there's 3 bathrooms is really nice. We loved that this house is so close to Pines Park and the beautiful beaches. The weather was perfect and we even had a BBQ in the backyard. The decorations are all very nice and it seems like everything is brand new! The beds were comfortable and there are tv's in all the rooms. If we return to Orange County we will definitely be renting this place out again. The price was great for having a whole house and big kitchen all to ourselves! This was our first time renting a vacation house in the USA (we are originally from New Zealand) and after a lot of searching on VRBO we decided on this property at Capistrano Beach. As this was my first long vacation with my wife and 5 children in tow (ranging in age from 1 to 15 years old) we needed to have a good space that still enabled us to see and do everything we wanted to do in California. We definitely chose the right house and the right location as we had a truly fantastic time at the house and loved California. We managed to pack a lot into our stay (San Diego Zoo, Disneyland, LA Lakers game, San Juan Capistrano, attended People’s Choice Awards, Santa Monica Pier, 3 different outlet malls, Hollywood and Rodeo Drive and lots of relaxing). This was definitely an amazing trip and if we can get ourselves back to California for another holiday we will definitely look to use this property again!! Cheryl was great to communicate with and we had a nice little folder explaining all the nearby supermarkets, gym, shopping etc which came in handy on day one as we ate in most nights. Overall a 10/10 for both location and experience! California even made us forget it was Winter back in Chicago as we had 11 stunning days while we were there in early Jan!Recommended for: Families with young children, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Our family of 10 gathered in this home for Christmas week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home was lovely and warmly decorated, including Christmas decorations, thanks to Cheryl. It was clean and well represented in the listing photos. It provided a wonderful setting for us to be together and to enjoy the home and surrounding area. We loved the location near the ocean, the park, and San Juan Capistrano. We were able to drive into LA for some sightseeing as well. Cheryl was fantastic; she was so accommodating, helpful and responsive, prior to and during our stay. We highly recommend this home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

About the owner: My husband and I met and fell in love after being introduced to each other by my daughter and his niece (sorority sisters), towards the end of 2003. We purchased an estate in nearby SJC and decided to call it home. It was the perfect place for our combined five adult children and grandchild to visit us and it's close proximity to the beach, made it the ideal vacation destination for friends and guests. Recently, we found the perfect beach house that we felt would be a great spot for our friends & family to visit and decided to put it on vrbo for all of you to have the opportunity to stay, while enjoying your vacation in one of the world's premiere beach locations.
Why the Owner Chose Capistrano Beach:
After living in San Juan Capistrano since 2005 and spending lots of time with friends in Laguna Beach, we knew we wanted a beach house of our own. While we enjoy our estate in historical SJC ,with it's lush grounds and private atmosphere, we also wanted something as close to the sand as possible to further enjoy with friends and family. Capistrano Beach is nestled in between Dana Point and San Clemente and couldn't be a better fit for us. It lacks the crowds and parking issues like Laguna and has beautiful beaches and nearby shops and restaurants, at the Dana Point Harbor. It's close to the freeway and centrally located which makes it easy to get to everything, without having to fight your way through traffic. This beautiful home came available and had tons of offers due to it's open, mostly single story floor plan and close proximity to the beach and park. With attention to detail, we had it decorated in a Polynesian theme so the visitor truly feels like their in an exotic beach location. With only being steps from the park and beach and a mile from the harbor, this location is unbeatable at this price point.
Near to historical towns, other beach towns, modern conveniences, shopping, restaurants, hiking, tennis, surfing, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, golf clubs, gyms, horseback riding, theaters, festivals, hot air ballooning and a host of other activities, this property is Heaven for the family on vacation. It has something to offer for everyone. We invite you to check it out for yourself, we feel you won't be disappointed.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The expansive, open floor plan with bedrooms on the main level and oversize loft upstairs that is easily accessible, had me convinced this house was the perfect vacation home for us. While my husband loves that it's only steps to one of Orange county's best beaches and within a mile to Dana Point Harbor, I love that it's only a few steps away to beautiful and dog friendly Pine's Park, with it's lush grounds and glorious trees, perched above the ocean. The home has a unique roof top patio deck that spots the ocean and is a great place to get away from it all, while lounging or reading a good book. The home's perfect for entertaining large families and has all the modern conveniences of a home just built as it was completely rebuilt a few years ago. We've filled it with everything we could think of to make our visitors feel comfortable and happy. Just bring your clothes and move right in. If you need something specific, we're only a couple miles up the road and will be more than happy to assist you.
