Snowbirds, spend a month, or more, enjoying the calming, quiet, and peaceful beauty of the California coast in Rancho Palos Verdes. Our second-floor home (with elevator service) is in the Ocean Terrace Condominium complex, sitting approximately 300 yards from the ocean bluffs. Enjoy our unimpeded and spectacular 180 degree view of Catalina Island and the rugged shoreline. Golfers will love the location on the Trump National Public Golf Course (considered by some to be the best course in California and described by Golf Digest as "the stretch limo of golf courses."), others will love the lush greens surrounded by the native vegetation. Walking trails run through the golf course and down to the beach and numerous tidal pools. Winter and Spring in southern California are warm and pleasant, a perfect haven.
This spacious unit will accommodate a couple perfectly (which is what we prefer), and there is still room for an occasional visitor. One small, well-trained, flea-free pet is welcome.
Our 1300 square foot unit has been carefully remodelled and is continually being updated. It is beautifully appointed with elegant furnishings, detailed trimwork, and lush fabrics. The entire unit (except for the bathrooms) is covered in stained cherry hardwood.
The kitchen has granite counters with a double ogee edge detail, recessed and undercounter lighting, mirrored backsplash, and glass-front cabinets. It is fully equipped with new appliances, dishes, and cooking utensils.
The living room has a built-in television area, a gas fireplace with a marble surround, and a marble-floored indoor patio area (sunroom). The dining room table is sized for four, but expandable to seating six or eight.
The master bedroom has a tiger-maple bedroom set with a large walk-in closet. The master bathroom has granite floor and countertop with a large shower. Other details include: plantation shutters, custom moldings, large window, and a computer area with high-speed internet. The guest bedroom has a modern double sofa bed, a large closet, a large window, and a wall-mounted LCD television.
The Ocean Terrace complex consists of two three-level stucco buildings. On the premises, near our second-floor unit (which is in the lower building, closest to the ocean) is a lovely pool, hot tub, and tennis courts. Bouganvilla, agapanthus, roses, and other colorful flowers are professionally maintained on the condominium's grounds.
Parking is under cover with restricted access. Weekly maid service is provided at no additional charge. No smoking.
The Trump National Public Golf Club boasts a lovely club house. Just stroll over for lunch and enjoy the tumbled limestone floors, beautiful decor, and delicious food. Golfers enjoy the world class service and maintenance of the public golf course.
Rancho Palos Verdes is an Oasis in the Los Angeles area. It is very peacefull and quiet, two-lane roads take you around the beautiful neighborhoods and their breathtaking landscapes. You will never want to leave!

Rental terms:
$1000 Security Deposit Required.
$2000 due to hold dates. Full payment due 60 days before arrival.
In the event of cancellations, a refund of the advanced rental deposit will be made only to the extent a tenant can be found to occupy the vacated time reserved.
We are only able to rent to those over the age of 45.
