  Location, location, location. Great place to escape to, to let the world go by for a week or two. If you want a perfect place to stay, the Elua Village is it. We have been to Maui a number of times and usually stay in Kaanapali. This was our first stay in Wialea—this is now our favorite part of the island. The unit we stayed in was perfect. It is beautifully and professionally decorated and so comfortable. The view from the living room and from the spacious wrap around deck is spectacular. The deck has a large dining table and comfortable chairs as well as lounging furniture where we enjoyed cocktails and appetizers while watching the dramatic sunsets every evening. We cooked and barbequed as often as we ate out. The kitchen is very well set up and complete. The owners are obviously serious cooks. A two minute walk from this unit through the lush, tropical and perfectly maintained grounds brings you to the main pool and the beach. There is even a fitness room with a view of the ocean. We especially enjoyed the location of this unit because it gave us the best combination of magnificent views, close proximity to the ocean and pools, and exceptional privacy and quiet. It is also short walk to the Wialea Village with its many shops and good restaurants. The beach is white sand and very long and you can walk the beach for miles. We walked every morning. Often when you select a vacation rental from photographs online you are disappointed when you arrive and wonder if this is the same place you saw in the pictures. This unit in real life is exactly as it is pictured on the VRBO website. You will not be disappointed. It is spacious enough for us to bring our family with grandchildren next time…and there will be a next time.

  We had a great two week stay in this upscale condo. The location is quiet, private and very relaxing. It was nicely furnished and very clean. It has a well equipped kitchen we appreciated since we like to cook in and eat on the deck with stunning views of the sun setting on Maui. When we chose to eat out, the condo was a short walk to the shopping center at Wailea where there are several excellent restaurants. We especially like the happy hour dinners at Tommy Bahama's. It is also an easy 3 minute stroll to a beautiful pool that had a large covered area where we played lots of cards. The ocean beach, just steps away from the pool area, is large and protected with good snorkeling. The beautiful Wailea golf courses were right across the street. We also enjoyed easy access to the boardwalk at Wailea for beautiful three mile morning walks (round trip). The owners were easy to deal with and very concerned that we enjoyed their beautiful property. We did not want to leave and hope to return for another relaxing stay soon.

  The beautiful condo at Elua Village was absolutely wonderful for us! The night we arrived a rain storm descended on Maui but left the gardens lush for us the next morning. We enjoyed evenings on the patio as the sunset over the Pacific Ocean. There is a paved path along the ocean that we walked several times. It takes you to the shopping center to the south and continues along some of the most beautiful Maui resorts. We will return!

  We had a heavenly 2 weeks in the Wailea area at Wailea Elua Village . What a terrific spot! The view from the generous terrace was breathtaking—we looked at West Maui and out to Lanai. The grounds are absolutely pristine with a huge variety of tropical plants. The location of Wailea Elua Village is right in the middle of a gorgeous, walkable and swimable beach-- a mile+ one way on sand and a mile+ on a paved walkway right next to the beach. A 5 minute walk to the attractive Wailea Shopping Center and several gorgeous hotels for coffee/drinks/ restaurants and stores. Everything we needed! We had a car but you could skip renting one if you just want to relax and not sight-see. They have 2 lovely pools and a hot tub to enjoy and other options we didn’t even use. The kitchen was well-equipped and the unit was beautifully decorated with comfortable furniture throughout--high-quality and very attractive. This is a gem of a spot to enjoy paradise at its best. We will definitely return!

  We had a wonderful week's stay. The unit is spacious, quiet and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. It has sweeping views of the ocean which can be enjoyed from inside the unit and from a large deck. The location could not be better. It is a short walk from the unit through the beautiful landscaped property to the beach or to two uncrowded pools. The beach path extends for miles in both directions. An upscale mall with multiple restaurants, bars and coffee shops, and unique retail stores is also only a short walk from the unit. First rate golf courses are a very short drive away. We would highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a peaceful and fun getaway on Maui. You will not want to leave.
