Charming Elegant Historic Home
Charming Elegant Historic Home
We can't say enough good things about this lovely historic home. It was perfect for our traveling to Lodi for a family wedding & 5 day visit. Our daughter, 3 year old & 1 year old grandchildren along with Papa & Nana had plenty of space. The owner set out terrific toy baskets, & a pack & play. A secured courtyard had an arbor patio area of blooming wisteria & delightful playhouse. The large dining room provided many evenings of extended family coming over for meals & visiting. Thanks for all the wonderful memories we shared with Great Grand Dad & other out of town family members.

Great place to stay in Lodi
Great place to stay in Lodi
My wife wanted to celebrate her birthday in Lodi since we had not explored the region's many wineries. We arrived at the house on Friday to find it very clean, in a beautiful neighborhood, and nice and warm even though it was storming outside. The house is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable with a great floor plan and many terrific amenities. We took a nice long walk all through the neighborhood which is both charming and beautiful, and the people extremely friendly. Downtown with all it's shops, restaurants, and wine tasting rooms is just a short walk from the house, and the fireplace and kitchen are first rate. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in town. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back.

About the owner: Both Steve and I (Marne) grew up in Lodi. Our families and many childhood friends still live nearby. We actually met in our college years in southern California and couldn't wait to move back to our hometown once we were married. Our two daughters were born while living in this house and although we love it dearly, our growing family needs a little more space as they enter high school. So, we moved across town but want to share our home with others visiting this little town that means so much to us. In all of our travels we have learned what makes us most comfortable while staying in a home away from home and have tried to include all of those special details to make you feel like this is your home too. I helped found the Lodi Conference and Visitors Bureau as Lodi began developing it's tourist sites and know almost all there is to know about Lodi, the events, the businesses and the wineries. Lodi is a small town that has many 'secret' gems. I would love to help you plan your visit here and to make the trip even better than you had hoped it could be.
Why the Owner Chose Lodi:
We are only the fourth owner of this almost century old home. It is beautifully built with fine craftsmanship and the perfect floor plan and has been lovingly cared for. The minute we first walked in the door we knew it was the house meant for us. It is set in the perfect location to enjoy the surrounding neighborhood and downtown area. The neighbors are friendly and the three outside patios give you lots of options for dining and relaxing all year round.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
This older neighborhood is known for it's tree lined streets and families out walking the dog or playing in the park across the street. It is truly small town America with all the benefits of big cities. Celebrations are common, festivals are busy and the art scene is strong here. And all of it is happening within walking distance of our front porch.
