The Sanctuary is located in the heart of Winter Park that has easy access to all local services -- grocery, restaurants, health club and much more. The Sanctuary sits on the edge of the Arapahoe National Forest with outstanding views and access to hiking, sledding and snowshoeing. After skiing, one can relax in the hot tub on the back porch or drive into town to one of the many restaurants.
The house has an open, warm environment to get reconnected with family and friends after skiing. The upstairs has a great room with a card table and a Wii Gaming System.

About: Growing up in the Midwest, family was always an important aspect to life. The Sanctuary house has become the focus for family and friends to come together to enjoy the outdoor beauty of Colorado. Over the years, our home has been a center to many family reunions. From summer to winter, it's been a place to come, share and relax. Our grandkids love the time at grandma and grandpa's house to hike, bike and have fun with cousins. In the winter, it's a time to ski, skate and sled. These are time that we hold in our hearts as we grow up and older.
Why Elk Run:
We had vacationed in Winter Park for several years. We fell in love with all of the natural beauty of this area. We spent time hiking, biking and skiing in this area. In 1995, we were hiking and stumbled into this area that is now our backyard. It was on this weekend that we purchased this lot with plans to build sometime in the future. In 1999, we broke ground to build this vacation home. We invite you and your family to enjoy the same natural beauty of this area that we have grown to love.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The Sanctuary is located on the edge of the Arapahoe National Forest. The sunset views from the back porch our outstanding. The front porch has a great view of the Continental Divide. It is these views, the crispness of the air, the incredibly blue sky and wonderful pine smell that filled the air that make this place magical.
