The Bears Paw has three spacious bedrooms each with a custom made log bed, one king, and two queens, all tastefully made up with luxurious rustic themed bedding. We understand the difference a quality mattress can make in getting a good night sleep, thats why each bed features a Sealy Posturepedic Obsession mattress set; Sealys best mattress.

After a hard day of play you will love spending time in the living room on the incredibly comfortable Eddie Bauer leather sofa.

Relax and enjoy the 51 inch Toshiba wide screen HDTV, or enjoy the stereo system, by a cozy gas fireplace.

Featuring a custom designed, solid surface Alder wood table, with matching chairs that comfortably seat eight. The trestle style legs and all eight chairs are constructed with Alder logs with the bark still on, giving this dining room suite a unique rustic charm.

A clean, well-equipped, modern kitchen makes entertaining a breeze. Featuring a side-by-side refrigerator freezer, ceramic top stove, dishwasher, and microwave. As well as a coffee maker, blender, toaster and all the cookware, dishes and glassware required to host an elegant meal or to prepare a simple breakfast.

A private deck with stunning mountain views comes well equipped with patio furniture and a complete barbeque.

1348 square feet, sleeps eight, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining room seats eight, fully equipped kitchen,

Our stay at Bears Paw was great! The place was very clean and just as described and really enhanced our holiday. It was so great to come back and relax on the comfy furniture (especially the Eddie Bauer couch!!) after a long day out adventuring. The kitchen was awesome as well and the icemaker came in especially handy (nice to not have to try keep track of when new ice needed to be made). The beds were also very comfy (including the pull out couch in the living room), however some did find the log bed a bit too soft. The owner was excellent to deal with; very quick to answer any questions and sent an excellent info package a few days before we were to arrive. Our only issues were that the cordless phone wouldn't couldn't hold it's charge, so the phone was useless. And the wireless internet didn't work either, but we were able to connect to the internet by physically plugging our laptop into the router in the one bedroom, and there was a random wireless connection that we were able to access that wasn't password protected. It's also a bit close to the railway line (which is quite busy), but not sure there would be many locations in Canmore that wouldn't be close to it.. The location within Canmore is prime! On one side of the building there is a Safeway and on the other side a Sobeys. It's SUPER close to many walking trails around Canmore and only a short walk to downtown Canmore where there are so many great shops, pubs, and restraunts to try out; there was even a small farmer's market downtown one day! One of our favorite places to kick back on a sunny day was the patio at The Grizzly Paw pub. Overall it was a great stay and we would highly recommend the place and would definitely stay there again!
