Our family gathering that takes place every 3 years with family from 11 different states was very relaxing here in MI. The bonfires on the beach soothed the soul, viewing the freighters was exciting, setting outside chatting away the day on the lawn furniture was refreshing and the accomodations couldn't have been better. There was plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was well stocked, the house comfy and warm, very welcoming and the neighborhood was quiet. Town was nearby with a couple of great restaurants, shopping and other things to see & do. Our hosts answered ALL of our many questions and the whole vacation was just what we'd all expected. THANK YOU!

Our vacation in August 2009, staying at Cindy's House on beautiful Lake Huron was more than we imagined it would be! What an absolutely wonderful location and view. This property had something for everyone in our family! Several special things for us were the "private beach", where we played in the water, searched for sea glass and found some WONDERFUL stones and rocks for souvenirs. When we weren't on the beach we were sitting the shade watching the Great Lakes freighters go by. We came home with fond vacation memories and a much greater appreciation for The Great Lakes! Cindy, we can't thank you enough for the use of your cottage in June 2009. The cottage was very clean & well maintained for our family escape. We spent most of our time in the yard at the fire pit taking in the view. We had a large party and everyone found something to do whether it was golf (close by), shopping in Port Huron or just hanging back reading a book in a peaceful setting. We look forward to future getaways in Lexington! The MacLellan Clan!

MY FAMILY AND I STAYED AT CINDY'S BEACHHOUSE AND GUESTHOUSE FOR A WEEK AND THEN HAD MY WEDDING IN THE BACKYARD OVERLOOKING THE LAKE....IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! WE COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER VACATION HOME OR LOCATION FOR A SMALL BEACH WEDDING. THE HOUSE WAS EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING, IT WAS CLEAN, CHARMING AND WELL-MAINTAINED...I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A STAY OR A WEDDING ON CINDY'S PROPERTY

Cindy, Our family had a wonderful week at your lake property in Lexington, MI. There was enough indoor and outdoor space for our four generation family to spread out and have a great time. Between the house and the Lexington area, there were plenty of activities for everyone from 8 months to 77 years old. It was a great time. Thanks!!

My family and I spent 1 week, we had the main house and guest house. Your property and homes are very well maintained and clean. We would love to see a front yard fire because the bugs are bad on the beach and we could not find a designated spot for horse shoes. Other than that things are beautiful. The houses are so well supplied we could have left home half of the things we brought. We would like to rent again at the same time next year but the calendar only goes to June.

My family and friends stayed here for one great week. My favorite parts were the incredible beach and nice firepit for roasting marshmallows. The house is very roomy and the kitchen very well stocked with utensils, etc. It did get very warm a few days and air conditioning would have been great- but the breeze from the lake cooled us down. I would absolutely recommend a stay here and look forward to many more summers!!

The Richardson Family enjoyed our week (July 23-30, 2005) at Cindy Hull's house north of Lexington, MI. It was a little hot the first few days, but for the most part we had great, cool, Lake Huron weather. The house was fine, and we were well-pleased with the beach (nice firepit; great for horseshoes) and the yard. The location, near Lexington and Port Sanilac, 75 minutes from Frankenmuth, several lots down the beach from a nice city park, was perfect for our family. THANKS! The Richardsons Greenfield, IN

Cindy,The MaDa’s (mothers/daughters) really enjoyed our stay at your cottage - great sunny beach and wonderful shady yard. The grandmother’s especially enjoyed the swing and my mom and I really enjoyed playing backgammon out in the yard every afternoon with the lake as our backdrop. The house was roomy, the beds comfortable. I even found two Petoskey stones on one of our beach walks. We couldn’t have ordered better weather. We’ll definitely be back next year. Thanks for everything.

Thanks Cindy for an incredible stay. We enjoyed the coziness of the house, the walks on the beach, the bonfires with s'mores, the sunrise, the barbecues, the relaxing times on the hammock and beach swing. I hope we have a chance to come back again. Everything was terrific!

If you like spectacular sunrises, long walks in the sand and the quiet of a campfire at night (right on the beach!) then this is the place to stay! We had the beach to ourselves for our entire stay. You can walk for miles in the soft sand and the view is spectacular. Truly deserving of the name "Sunrise Shores!" You could watch the sunrise from your bedroom window, but who can resist running right out the back door to sit on the beach with camera in hand? The house was charming and large enough to share with family or friends. We are already making our plans to go back!
