Great cosy house!

We stayed there with friends and our combined kiddos and had a wonderful time. The house is very cosy with plenty of space for everyone. It has a great wrap around deck and nice views. It's about half way between Pagosa Springs and the Wolf Creek ski resort so great location. Very quiet, sparsely developed and serene neighborhood. The way up the mountain is a bit steep at times so 4 wheel drive would be a must if the roads were snowy/icy. Would rent this house again!

My 9 law school friends and I went to Serendipity at Pagosa over Spring Break of 2012. Upon our arrival, we were simply amazed at the location. It is located on top of a hill that overlooks the mountains. It was snowing when we got there, so we were a bit spoiled. When we entered, we found the cabin to be remarkably comfortable with a pleasant aesthetic interior. Everything we needed was within our reach (towels, kitchen utensils, etc). The landlord, cleaners, and owners of the property were as nice as possible and were very respectable and flexible. The price was simply unbeatable, especially when split among a large group - there were plenty of places for us to sleep. We have no complaints and will return (as soon as we pass the Bar and make some money!).

Dear Colleen, Thank you so much for sharing your lovely home again, to our family again this year, for our annual family snowmobile trip to the Mtns. Of course on Monday when we were packing up was the most perfect day. It had snowed all day Sunday and was just so beautiful. The kids enjoyed sledding down the driveway, and then having hot chocolate, made their day! One of these summers we will have to do a summer vacation weekend in Pagosa. I am sure the hiking is great! Thanks again so much, Blessings,

Colleen, Colleen, Just returned from a lovely but too-short weekend at your cabin in Pagosa Springs. We all enjoyed our stay very much and it was easy to feel at home in your delightful cabin. My niece & nephew had a great time with all the games you have there and they loved their fort-bed.

The cabin was too cute (much like the other we stayed that has the same owner). It was well kept, wonderfully stocked (we had 10 people and enough dishes, chairs, bedding, etc), the porch was our favorite part, and of course, Pagosa didn't disappoint (neither did the fishing!). The garage apartment was perfect, too. Our dog loved the house and apartment...and the neighbor dog! It was so nice getting to bring him. Thanks for a wonderful time. We'll be back!

We rented both the house and over-the-garage apartment for a family vacation. Slept 8 adults and 1 infant comfortably. The house is in a nice residential neighborhood, quiet and peaceful with nice views from the front porch. The property is clean and well maintained. We fished, hiked, rode the steam train at Chama, NM (much better, imho, than the Durango-Silverton train), hit the hot springs in Pagosa, and ate at Kips Mexican almost daily....great food!! We had a great family vacation and would definitely recommend Serendipity to our friends, and would not hesitate to stay there again. Their pet-friendly policy was very helpful, too.

We had a fabulous time at Serendipity! The kids discovered "the secret room" off of the second floor bedroom and were delighted to have a place to play and hide. And we all loved the lovely living/dining space. Even played Skip Bo!
