Casa Vista Hermosa is a perfect vacation rental for anyone who appreciates a higher end luxury home with incredible views and an overall spaciousness. Situated in the famous Las Huacas area, both surf and yoga are only a couple minutes away in Guiones!
Vista Hermosa provides jaw-dropping mountain and valley views as well as smaller ocean & surf break views to the north. Imagine relaxing in the infinity edge pool, lounge chairs or hammocks overlooking the jungle canopy as monkeys hop from tree to tree, birds cruise through the valley, and clouds morph into an ever changing stunning picture show often providing rainbows.
Beautifully furnished and decorated, Vista Hermosa is not your 'average' vacation rental. It is a haven of peace and privacy surrounded on three sides by a wildlife refuge. Offering 2 bedrooms en suite, this home provides an open floor plan, high ceilings and a gourmet kitchen with granite counter tops ideal for entertaining and the chefs in the group. The kitchen and living areas open up to the outside patio and swim up pool. There is actually a bar linking the kitchen and patio for delivering fresh food and drinks to everyone outside. Gas BBQ grill on the outdoor patio. And, there is a powder room accessible from the patio as well as from inside.
The Master bedroom is up a small staircase providing the best ocean views to the north. It offers a king-size bed with a private spacious bathroom that includes double vanities, a bidet and a large shower. The second bedroom on the main floor has 2 twin beds that can be made up as a king, a private bath and a patio door that opens to the pool area. The main living area features leather sofas, with satellite flat-screen TV, and a large dining table for gourmet meals, playing cards, various games or just enjoying the cool breezes. The house includes high-speed wireless internet.
The positioning of this house is such that you enjoy magnificent sunrises coming over the mountains and cooler temperatures throughout the afternoon. Air conditioning is available at $100/week but rarely needed or requested. Vista Hermosa is a smoke-free environment.

I went with some good friends for a week. The house was spectacular with breathtaking views. We really enjoyed the outdoor living space, the pool area is where we spent most of our time when we were at the house. The kitchen is updated and very spacious. Convenient for preparing meals,outdoor dining, and BBQ's. Although we did enjoy the restaurants in town in the evenings. It was nice the kitchen came fully equipped everything was set up and ready to go. The indoor living space was very nice and spacious with a nice dining room and living room area. We stayed in the bedroom upstairs and loved the morning breeze it was wonderful to wake up to that beautiful view every day.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Made our 3rd annual trip to Nosara in mid-March. Have stayed in 3 different homes and this was by far, the best one yet! All had good aspects but this home is extremely well-cared for, well-equipped and well-appointed. We are veteran home renters and it's noticed when a home has everything it needs and doesn't feel like a rental. Pots & pans match, the dishes are an actual set, not castoffs, and so forth. Master bed & bath were very comfortable. I loved the walk in shower. Kitchen is gorgeous and the outside area is very comfortable and private. Pool area has hammock, adirondack chairs and two loungers that can moved for sun or shade. The cleaning person came twice during our two week stay, she was very unobtrusive and does a great job. Gardener and pool service also come on a regular basis and again, unobtrusive. Agnes and Jo from Mango Property Mgmt. checked on us a couple of times; we're pretty self-sufficient so had no concerns but they answered a few questions for us about the area, etc. View from the home over the valley is fantasic. You don't get a direct sunset but the clouds turn gorgeous shades of red & orange. Full moon while we were there and that was gorgeous as well. A little bit of monkey activity and several pisote sightings. House is very secure, with a remote controlled gate, home alarm system, iron gates and bars on sliding doors. Initially it was a bit of a production to lock & unlock but I appreciate the security. Only challenge we had was with the new apple TV the owners just set up. Internet speed wasn't quick enough to download a movie but I think there may be a setting to correct. We really didn't need to watch TV anyway - nicer to sit outside and enjoy the breeze. My two adult daughters and I spent five fantastic nights at Casa Vista Hermosa. We will definitely come back next year and plan on a longer stay. What we enjoyed most about the house is that it sits high up on a hill with lovely mountain views. The air was cooler than in town and we had nice breezes throughout most of the day. We were able to sit on the patio by the pool and enjoy the spectacular view of the valley. There is plenty of room for shade protection -- perfect at midday when the sun is strong. The patio is right off the kitchen, which is so convenient for entertaining. We lived outside from the moment we woke until late into the night staring at the amazing stars. The monkeys visit every day and the hummingbirds and butterflies love the colorful bouganvilla that hangs over the pool. The house is well equipped. Nice kitchen, appliances, washer and dryer, wifi, a/c … it’s all there, exactly as described. The house is open, spacious and kept very clean just like the photos on the website. Nathalie is the housekeeper and is very sweet; we had her come twice and she quietly did her work without interrupting us. Beach was five minutes down the hill and we spent every morning walking the perfect stretch of sand and swimming in the ocean; the tide pools at low tide are magical. We enjoyed the beach very much and then going back to the house for a cool beverage and rinse off in the pool and outdoor shower. We dined out every night, though could have easily cooked in since the kitchen is nice. The owners gave us plenty of excellent restaurant recommendations. Vista Hermosa is a great choice if you want to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Costa Rica.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Perfect place. We have come from Montreal for 3 weeks, very quiet, no neighbors, monkeys, birds and coaties came to visit us daily. Clean place, wonderful pool, hard to go to the beach when you can stay in such a nice and peaceful place.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Casa Vista Hermosa; wonderful, private home in Nosara. Amenities; lacking for nothing. The knife, the blender or the aC, it's all there. The home is laid out extremely well. Out back you spend all your time at the pool and sitting area, the view is wonderful across the valley and out towards the mountains. The panoramic landscape is extremely private. Some noise behind you as the road gets some traffic. Not major, but it's the main access up a large hill to the homes in this area. Not terrible, but it's not 100% quiet either. On the other hand, neither are the howler monkeys which wake you every morning. We love that noise! The entire home and property are kept extremely well, Pool and sitting area are wonderful with an outside shower. Beach is 5 minute drive. If you know the right parking area, it's wide, long, clean with few people on it! The maint. people were quiet and respectful. There are locking steel gates on the windows and doors that do not take away from the look of the home, but for those looking for extra security, that and the alarm system affords you that additional security. Had zero problems. Had one issue with front gate. Agnes and Jo were on top of it, w/Jo made sure work was done promptly and correctly. Hats off to their quick response. It tells you a bit about how they take care of business and their customers. We viewed the house initially on FlipKey, and simply put, what you see "is" what you get; a really well kept, modern, private home w/all the bells and whistles in a delightful area of Nosara. About the owner: Our year round residence is on Martha’s Vineyard, a small island off the coast of Massachusetts. Our life on the island revolves around nature and the community. Not surprisingly we find a similar connection in Nosara with the added joys of abundant tropical sunshine, tropical fruits and organic vegetables. We both teach yoga and love the many yoga options in Guiones, the relaxed beachfront section of Nosara. The natural beauty of Costa Rica and the close proximity to the wildlife here is astounding!
