  • We (Husband, wife and 3 kids ages 14,11,8) stayed at Grammie's House for 5 days over Christmas. It was an extremely wonderful experience. The owner did a terrific job of making us feel comfortable and the apartment was very thoughtfully setup for her guests. The price is very very resonable and the owner was more interested in the pride of knowing that her guests had a wonderful visit. The owner has a mission to have her guests enjoy the wonderful experience of visiting Lake Placid. This property is the BEST VALUE YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET IN LAKE PLACID. Grammie's house was very conveniently located (6 minutes walk to main street) in beautiful Lake Placid. The apartment was thoughtfully stocked with all the things you would need... even toothbrushes and staples. IT WAS TRULY LIKE STAYING AT GRANDMA'S HOUSE.. DOWN TO THE LAST DETAIL. OUR KIDS MADE THIS OBSERVATION. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY AND IF YOU ARE ABLE TO STAY THERE YOU WILL TRULY BE BLESSED AND WOULD BE VERY LUCKY. WE EXPECT TO VISIT THERE AGAIN. THANKS
