  Our recent stay at the "Cabin in the Northern Woods" could not have worked out any better. Katie Keller; the owner of the property was very friendly and helpful. Everything she told us about the cabin was true........It was in a great area; the home was very clean; and afforded us everything we needed. I would recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a very nice place to stay in Munds Park. As were were..............I am sure it will not disappoint!!

  I would have a hard time recommending this rental. Real close to I-17 (you can see it from the deck) and the highway noise prevents you from opening any windows. I'll take blame for this as I did not check the map, but it's not quiet. More important is the lack and condition of the essentails, like cups, plates,knives, mugs, etc- they are all mis-matched and only 4 coffe mugs? one knife for slicing, no cutting board, only one ice tray in the freezer. no salt and pepper, no sugar, no place mats. I wish the owners would have listed what we neeed to bring instead of saying fully stocked with all the essentails. Advertised as sleeping 10-18, but only enough pillows for 7? the deal breaker was the loft-don't let your kids use it. The railing (you can't see it in the photos) was finished by nailing up a sharp metal pointed stick thing- it will draw blood if your kid rubs up against it. the whole loft should be taken down- not safe. shower head in second bathroom did not work- I notified the owner and she took 50.00 off my bill. It was clean and there ws plenty of wood for the fireplace. It's for sale so that's maybe why there is a lack of basic stuff every vacation rental should have.

  Owner response: I guess there are always renters who complain, even when we have had all 5-star reviews up until this point. Really...complaining about only one ice tray? I gave this renter my phone number if there were any problems and ASKED him to call me...he complained AFTER his visit that one of the showers was weak, when it was simply a slightly clogged filter that could have been easily remedied. This is the best deal around for multiple people in a beautiful setting...just look at the other reviews! Everything is quite safe, as proven by so many previous renters. Even after giving a rebate because he complained, he still complained in a review...some people just can't be grateful, even with all the extras we furnish like firewood, firewood starters (which he used), all paper products, washer/dryer, etc. The place is SPOTLESS...always has and always will be, but we sure didn't hear about that. Beautiful setting, all amenities (except second ice cube tray!), a refund because Dan has crabby pants on, and he still isn't happy...sorry Dan!

  We had a great time, there were four adults and two children and two dogs. The house was clean and the pictures are great representation of the home. The owner was prompt with responses by both email and phone. The neighborhood is very peaceful and we were close to Sedona for hiking.

  As a family we usually just come up to play in the snow and do this all in one day, but this time we decided to get a place and share it for two nights. We enjoyed our stay here, there were 7 adults and 5 kids and we all had a great time in the cabin and playing in the snow. Good memories were made here....Thank you!

  This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved going into the loft, building a snowman, walking in the neighborhood, and sledding. We loved building a real wood fire with the provided logs. There were lots of sleeping options and the large great room with big windows was fantastic. Thanks to the owners for accommodating our last minute reservation.

  We rented this cabin for a family weekend and it was perfect. It was a great size for the whole family (8 adults and 2 kids) and had everything we needed. Loved the fire pit in the backyard and the large family room! The owner was so friendly and helpful - I would absolutely recommend this rental! Thanks for great weekend!

  3 adults, 3 children stayed 2 nights in the winter,owners were very kind through the whole process and the property was exactly as described. The owner let me know ahead of time what kitchen items were available so that I could plan accordingly and also about the neighborhood (ie stock up before you come or in Flagstaff for groceries). I planned and made most of my meals ahead of time and took them in the cooler so it worked out great. The loft was the favorite feature for my children and mine was the fireplace and beautiful backyard and quiet neighborhood. A great sledding spot is located just 2 miles north at the "dump" willow springs transfer station and its just a short (~30-40min) drive to snowplayaz.com in Flagstaff. Very convenient for Phoenix area travelers since it isn't as far as Flagstaff; I am already planning our next trip!
