This unique slice of heaven is tucked away on 9 wooded acres of peace and solitude amid nature.
Drive up the paved approach, and as you round the bend you will see the house set among the mature trees, something inside you automatically relaxes, and you are ready to unwind.
As you pass over the foot bridge, the koi pond on your left, and waterfall feature on your right, you enter into the foyer with open great room, 10 foot beamed ceilings and posts made from locust trees…so unique, but that’s just where it starts! The creative use of tile, texture, and color in this home add a whimsical feel! The warm dark solid wood floors throughout are accented with area rugs, along with comfortable furnishings. Step through the double in-swing French doors out onto the deck that runs the full width of the home, stroll through the Japanese garden and take a deep breath. Pull up a seat and be mesmerized by the koi gracefully floating in the pond, which abuts the deck and entrance. OR, make yourself comfortable in front of the floor to ceiling stone fireplace in the great room, uniquely framed with natural wood. The night skyis a mass of stars, so pull some chairs around the fire pit, break out the s’mores, and settle in to unwind from a day of fun and adventure.
You are still just minutes from biking, hiking, rock climbing, kayaking, golf, canoeing, zip lining, white water rafting, Segway tour, winter sports…just about any outdoor activity!
