  Apartment was great for myself, my wife and 3 yr old. Great location, very spacious and modern. Kept very clean on daily basis by cleaners. Wonderful free laundry service. Tv to keep the little fella occupied. Nice little balcony to chill out on and escape the Hanoi bustle. All in all can highly recommend! Huyen was also great to deal with and very helpful. Would definitely stay again!

  This was my second stay there in 4 months and I confirm my earlier impressions - a very convenient location - nice and well maintained studios which are well equipped - the nice and cosy charm of pre - WW 2 European style upgraded with good taste - congratulations to the owners for the excellent job.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  Exceptionally well done up accommodation at 27, Ly Thoung Kiet by Yen & her team of professionals. Stayed here for a total duration of 2 months. You have an option of selecting a condo or bigger 2 BHK apartments. The team makes sure that your stay is comfortable & all needs taken care of. The apartments are serviced on a daily basis & everything is taken care of. The location is to kill for, bang at the center of Hanoi, close to Hoan Keim Lake & nearby places. I highly recommend a stay if visiting Hanoi for a slightly longer duration!!

  I really enjoyed the short stay of 4 days at the apartment. It is truly home away from home in such a convenient spot at the heart of the city, with the true feel of Hanoi. Everything I need was within walking distance! The apartment is brand new, fully furnished, modern, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, tucked away at a quiet corner of Hoa Binh Hotel, a beautiful old colonial building next to Hoan Kiem Lake. Even the corridor outside the apartments is tastefully decorated with great care and detail, creating such a tranquil feeling when you step in and away from the hustle bustle of Hanoi. The owners are professional, extremely sweet and went the extra mile to provide the help that I needed for my stay the whole time! All in all, this place is highly recommended whether for business or leisure. It is right at the CBD area, surrounded with cultural spots and all the interesting stuff you need to know about Hanoi! Cheers!

  My husband and I stayed at LvT in late December 2012 through the beginning of January 2013. We found this property to be an excellent choice as a home away from home. Being in an apartment set-up with a well-equipped kitchen makes such a difference when one is without the usual conveniences of home. Not that I wanted to do all the kitchen chores while traveling! Restaurants abound in the neighborhood so one can readily have choices of either Western or Vietnamese cuisines. After decades of traveling, however, I've found that being able to have our own hot or cold light snacks and drinks of our choice anytime of day, or a cup of hot milk before retiring at night, without having to call room service, does increase the level of comfort. The LvT 's location in the old French Quarters is a nice alternative. One can still enjoy shady tree-lined boulevards of old Hanoi with stately Colonial style buildings as a backdrop for streetside food stalls. The vibrancy of Vietnamese daily life can still be seen as one walks around the neighborhood. Yet, one does not feel as overwhelmed as being on the narrower streets and among the busier activities of Hanoi's Old Quarters, despite that particular location's own unique charm. The Colonial style hotel, behind which the LvT is situated, is a plus as well. Due to the fact that it's still a fully operating hotel, there's always a staff on hand 24/7, even though the hotel has no formal relationship with LvT ( I still can't figure out the arrangement between the two!). One enters through the old hotel's Colonial styled lobby, goes up to the second floor and walks down a long corridor to the back part of the building, only to find a completely and newly renovated section that is LvT. The decor inside the apartments reminds one of IKEA's showrooms! It looks just like the pictures shown above. Taxis were easy to find in front of the hotel, and most drivers know the hotel's Vietnamese name, so getting back is also easy. The only thing on the minus side was that the cleaning staff marched right into the room without asking if the time was convenient for us to have the routine cleaning done. Also, they perhaps had forgotten to change the pillow cases the day we checked in, but that was promptly corrected. I expect such things will not occur once the staff gains more experience as time goes by. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for those of us who want a change from the regular hotels for tourists.

  Our family (2A, 3 children - ages 11, 9 and 6) stayed for 4 nights but were able to keep our bags here stored securly when we returned from a trip to Halong Bay (only could take small bags on the cruise). We loved staying here in the French Quarter. It was a good introduction to Vietnam and less chaotic than staying in the Old Quarter. The modern style was good for children used to a Western standard and the managers were very helpful. Their English was great and they could make arrangements for us. The foyer staff of the main hotel are helpful too but there is no connection between the apartment and hotel, just that it is inside the hotel, which has a grand spiral staircase and chandeliers. In walking distance to Opera House, Sofitel Metropole and Lake/Old Quarter if you don't mind trekking a few blocks. Good cafes, French and Vietnamese cuisine nearby. Quiet so good for sleep. We would stay here again.

  Fabulous place. Brand new flat very nice situated in old town near shops, restaurants and Hoan Kiem Lake. Friendly staff and helpfull owner who is always ready to please. I really recommend this place !

  My family and I enjoyed our stay here in a 2 bedroom apartment for holiday.  At first I was apprehensive about booking my stay with them because there were no reviews online regarding the apartment and the company itself.  The apartment was located in an annex to the Hoa Binh Hotel.  The hotel itself was charming and old (over 100 years old) but the apartments were all renovated in a modern and comfortable design.  It is pretty much as photographed here.  I travelled with several young children and the owners were extremely accommodating, making arrangements for an extra bed, cot, baby tub, etc.  Although they were not on site, they were very attentive, helpful and just a phone call away.  Anytime we had issues with the apartment, the response was immediate.  For example, in one of the bedrooms the air conditioning stopped working and I was surprised to find someone was there within minutes to fix it. In terms of positives: 1-Location for the apartment was super convenient.  Lots of restaurants, cafes, bars, etc.  in the neighborhood.  There was a grocery store just a street over.  We were able to walk to some major sights (the lake, opera house, water puppet show, etc) with our kids.  No problems getting a taxi. 2- Daily laundry service was a lifesaver.  The cleaning lady came by everyday to clean and do our laundry.  Turnover was within hours and our clothes came back in the afternoon folded!   3- The apartment was clean, modern, cozy and comfortable.  Layout was well thought out.  Furniture looked fairly recent and new. 4- The owners spoke fluent English so it was easy for us to communicate with them and they are really very lovely and thoughtful in giving advice, suggestions and went out of their way to make us comfortable. Thanks so much Huyen and Yen! The most troubling issue we experienced was from the daily government announcement made through a loud speaker on the street.  Without fail it would wake us up at 7:00 am.  We were told by the management that this is the old method of providing news to the public and they have already petitioned for it to stop but still awaiting outcome. Not fantastic when on holiday but if you are there on business, you will never have to set your alarm clock!   Overall, very happy with our stay & would recommend it highly.
