This was an excellent vacation property. The unit was clean and well furnished. The location within the property was convenient to the pool, hot tub and fitness center. Shopping near by was within walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and various personal service shops. The location relative to sightseeing and hiking in the Sabino Canyon, Mt Lemmon and other locations was very convenient. Ease of travel to the Titan Missle Museum, the San Xavier san Bac Mission, Old Tucson Studios, Tombstone and other points of interest rounded out the vacation experience.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

Being in transition re: housing I rented this condo for much of 2012. It's an upper end unit overlooking a large open green space enjoyed by the residents of the complex. Plus it has great views of the eastern foothills in the distance. Sunrises and sunsets can be glorious and last over 10 minutes. It's a 2-mile drive to Sabino Canyon, and there is a country atmosphere. Yet it is close to supermarkets, good restaurants, and a mix of outdoor activities. Typical for Tucson, there are several golf courses nearby. The unit itself is nicely furnished and comfortable for 2 people, While the appliances have not been upgraded to stainless steel they work fine, which is what mattered to me most. The best part for me were the generous storage closets in the kitchen, bedroom, and on the large balcony. The photos show the good use of space and attractive furnishings. It's clean, comfortable, has great views, and is close to an inviting range of shopping and outside activies. To a certain extent, this northeast corner of Tucson is a hidden gem. And this vacation rental is a great place to stay while enjoying the best of what Tucson has to offer its visitors.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: We live in Boise Idaho and purchased the condo when Jim was a golf pro at the Ventana Canyon Golf Resort. Loved Boise too much to leave, so moved back to Boise to raise our son but continued to own the condo in Tucson.
