The house has such a great feel to it, very welcoming, clean, warm, and comfortable. The owners are fabulous to work with and really go the extra mile to make their guests feel comfortable. I loved the relaxing pool outside and amazing mountain views you can see right through the dining room windows. I recently stayed at this home with a group of friends for a long weekend. There is not a single bad thing I could say about my time in this house! To begin, the home was in immaculate condition when we arrived, with fresh sheets on the beds, towels in the closet, and even a little welcome note and gift of champagne! We felt welcome, at home, and relaxed immediate. The home itself has a great layout, with large open spaces, and a nice distance between the kitchen/entertaining areas and the back bedrooms (which is nice so you don't wake the entire house when you're up at 7am making coffee!). And of course, the pool and hot tub completed the experience. Everything in the home was laid out in an intuitive manner. Even operating the hot tub required only the push of a button. When we had difficulty getting the outside BBQ started, the owners immediately returned my emails and phone calls and in no time we had it up and running! Overall, I recommend this house to anyone -- families (young or old), groups of friends, or even a couple or two for a romantic getaway. It's convenient to everything in La Quinta, but removed enough from the commercial areas so that the house is peacefully quiet, with spectacular views of the mountains from the front porch and pool areas. I hope to return myself someday to this wonderful home!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This home is a perfect "vacation get-a-way". The rooms are all large and very clean. The beds are very, very comfortable. There were 5 of us for a week, and we had more than enough room. The grandkids had a blast in the pool and hot tub. There are more than enough towels and the kitchen is very well stocked. The washer and dryer are like a commercial grade and easy to use. A TV in every room afforded everyone the opportunity to watch their favorite shows. The Bear Creek Trail just a couple of blocks away, made it easy to get our morning walks in. This home is definitely a good bargain at those rates. Old Town La Quinta is nearby and has many shops and restaurants, as well as a "Farmer's Market" on Sat. and Sun. Ralph's grocery store and Starbucks are fairly close, and just about two and a half miles away is hwy 111 which has every kind of store and restaurant you can possibly think of. Iliana and Dan were very accommodating and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this home for a quiet and very relaxing vacation.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My sister and I, my two daughters (13 and 16) and their two friends spent Spring Break at this wonderful home. The house was clean with wonderful beds, linens, towels and kitchen with almost all the items we needed. We were only lacking a blender so my sister could make her morning smoothies. Iliana graciously offered to meet us at the restaurant we were going to for dinner to bring us one to use during our week. I've rented many houses on vrbo and have never had one come with kitchen well equipped with spices, olive oil, condiments, etc that the guests could use. This was a wonderful surprise. We loved the peace and quiet of the neighborhood and really enjoyed our stay. Oh, and almost forgot. The house had lots of games too which the girls enjoyed playing. We'd highly recommend this home to others who want to get away but still have the comforts of home. Thanks Iliana and David for a wonderful and relaxing Spring break.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

My wife, son and myself stayed at this property for 6 days. We have going down to La Quinta for the past 15 years and staying in the Cove at different places. This was by far our best experience. The house was extremely well appointed and totally comfortable. Everything that you want is there. We had a chance to meet the owners who were very nice and helpfull. We would encourage anyone to stay here, you will not be disappointed!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.

We finished up with work and decided to take a mini-vacation (at the last minute) before joining our (in-law) families for the winter holiday. The house was beautiful, large, comfortable and welcoming. The owners were such gracious hosts: we could see their personal touches throughout, from the layout to the bottle of wine and chocolate that awaited our arrival. The heated saline pool and spa were wonderful too! This house, its owners and the location are fantastic. To the owners: Thank you for making this wonderful experience possible. Warm wishes to you and yours!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The pictures were spot on. The house was very comfortable and clean. The furnishings were nicely decorated and gave you a warm feeling instantly. We loved the pool and spa which were completely private and the front courtyard was great for hanging out. It's quite spacious and you never feel like you are on top of each other. About the owner: We enjoy many of the wonderful activities that the desert has to offer including golfing, biking, hiking, fine dining, and visiting the wonderful spas.
Why the Owner Chose La Quinta Cove:
Owing a Spanish style home is a dream fulfilled. This architectural style is common throughout California and we've always loved the romantic and beautiful style. We fell in love with this home the moment we walked through the door and saw the amazing mountain views from the kitchen. We love that the house wraps around the pool so you can access the pool from most rooms in the house. We've enjoyed many joyful and festive gatherings with family and friends. We also enjoy La Quinta Cove for its quiet location, close to Old Town La Quinta. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our home is nestled in the Santa Rosa Mountains. The trails are only a few blocks away and perfect for a morning or afternoon walk. Two miles away you'll find old town La Quinta, which is filled with charming shops and restaurants. There is a great farmers market on Sundays from September through April, which brings vendors with fresh baked breads, organic produce, and other wonderful products like cheese, olive oil and balsamic vinegars from local regions.
