Located approximately a 1 hour drive from the Calgary International Airport, Canmore is in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountain playground. Our retreat is a short 15 minute walk or 3 minute drive to downtown Canmore, or a 20 minute drive to Banff.
The condo itself is found at The Lodges at Canmore – Grizzly Lodge. Our cozy top floor retreat consists of 2 bedrooms (1 king, 1 queen), 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen, in-suite laundry, a spacious living room with gas fireplace, and a large 12x12 patio with a great view. Amenities include an outdoor pool (which is heated year round), three hot tubs, an exercise room, and underground heated parking. Other in-suite perks include a 42” LCD TV w/Blueray in the living room, a 32” LCD TV in the king bedroom, a 26” LCD TV in the queen bedroom, private WIFI, IPod and Android music players, dvd library, and a gas BBQ. For your day trips to Banff, a National Park pass is included for your use.

About the owner: This is a family owned vacation property. We have lived in Alberta our whole lives. We have travelled around the world and have seen many sights. Every time we come back to Canmore we feel blessed to have such close access to one of the most beautiful, scenic places on earth.
Why the Owner Chose Canmore: Our family lives approximately 3 1/2 hours from Canmore. Over the years, we have spent a lot of time hiking, fishing, skiing, and golfing here. Due to this, we finally decided to take the next step and purchase our own little piece of paradise. Due to the amount of time we've spent in this region, we can provide many helpful suggestions to our guests so they can make the most of their visit to this region.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo: We love the amenities that The Lodges provides. After an active day outdoors, we return to have showers and fire up the bbq to grill some great Alberta beef. We then like to go for a swim in the outdoor heated pool or just lounge in one of the three hot tubs. In the summer, we then sit on our large patio and converse while drinking a glass of wine all the while enjoying the view. In the winter, we pop some popcorn, turn on the tv, choose a dvd from our library, and watch it while sitting by the fire. For those that can't stay awake long enough to watch the movie, our bedrooms are on the opposite end of the unit so they can retire for the night and those choosing to stay for the movie don't have to worry about turning down the sound. During ski season, the underground parking is a bonus as we don't have to spend time warming up our car and brushing snow. This is a vacation property for our family far above being an investment property. Our guests can be assured that we have furnished this place to how we expect in our own homes. We are certain that our guests will feel at home the minute they put down their suitcases.
