I traveled with my mother (age 79), brother and his wife. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The condo was fantastic and exactly as pictured and described in the VRBO listing. It was spotless, had everything we needed and was just terrific. Robyn was fantastic to work with, giving us wonderful suggestions and was very responsive. We spent most of our time enjoying the beautiful beach. I highly recommend an early morning drive / walk through J. Ding Darling Wildlife Refuge, dessert at the Bubble Room and dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger. I definitely hope to return to Sanibel and would absolutely stay at Sanibel Siesta!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sanibel Siesta, Robyn's unit is simply beautiful. It is nicely decorated and very clean. I liked that we could turn in our towels for fresh ones, about halfway thru our stay. My husband and son loved the recliners! Everything is just really comfortable making the whole experience that much more relaxing. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. It's also nice to have the heated pool. The beach is beautiful, we enjoyed lots of beach walking, shelling and just unwinding. We were so pleased with the weather in January. Don't miss Pinnochio's Ice Cream Shop, it's the best! Our stay was perfect!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at the condo. It is a beautiful, well furnished unit. Everything seemed clean and new. Robin was very helpful before we arrived and the staff at Sanible Siesta was also great. Super easy to get to the beach, and chairs and an umbrella were provided. Good location on the island, too. Do bring/purchase anything you need for cooking in terms of food and spices. While the kitchen was super well stocked with pots, pans, blenders, etc., there were absolutely no grocery items. No salt, pepper, cooking spray, or anything like that. I understand that might be hard to keep up with, but often other VRBO places have had a few things in the kitchen. We were grateful for the starter kit with paper towels, dish washing soap, and first batch of coffee. All in all, we highly recommend Sanibel Siesta, and particularly this unit.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

It is beautiful condo and easy access to the beach. The condo was wonderful for a family of 5 to spread out and relax!! It had a wonderful lanai that was big and spacious. Would stay here again!! Thanks for letting us borrow your home!! The owner was able to answer my questions and would get back to me right away.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: I, Larry Bessert, have been visiting the beautiful Sanibel Island since the late 1970's. Over the years it has become a yearly vacation spot for me and my family. I currently reside in Indianapolis, IN but consider Sanibel Island my second home! I have gained friendships with many great residents, business owners, and fellow vacationers on the island and keep in contact with them between visits. My daughter, Robyn, has shared my love for the island as well and holds it near and dear to heart. She has grown up creating many wonderful memories at our favorite Sanibel spots including The Mucky Duck, The Bubble Room, Periwinkle Place, Finnimore's Cycle Shop, Sanibel Marina, Dunes Golf and Tennis Club, and of course, the lovely Sanibel Siesta On the Beach! The main goal for your visit is to make you feel at home in my condo and hope that you make wonderful Sanibel Island vacation memories just as we have!
