This non-smoking cozy and charming seaside cottage is located in the quaint village of Marion, Massachusetts.The village is one hour to Boston, Provincetown, Newport, Rhode Island, and thirty minutes to Cape Cod, and Providence, Rhode Island.
Marion is a residential seaside community located on the southeast coast of Massachusetts, with the warm waters of Buzzards Bay, without the traffic and congestion of Cape Cod. Marion is known as a sailing and boating town!
This "dreamer's cozy nest" is located within easy walking distance to Marion's harbor, town beach, beautiful waterfront homes, general store, shops, art center, music hall, Beverly Yacht Club, and Tabor Academy.
This wonderful, new (built in 2004) fully equipped air conditioned, and heated cottage, is bright, sunny, and modern with one bedroom with a full-size bed, and a ladder that takes you to a loft with two additional twin-beds, and television. There is an open living room with a sofa, coffee table, wicker rocking chair, television, a full kitchen, and full bath.
Enjoy the outside shower after the beach. French glass doors open onto an outside patio facing a beautifully landscaped yard. Table/chairs and umbrella are on the patio, for your outside dining, and a gas grill for your cooking. Washer and dryer are located in the cottage basement for your use.
The cottage is located behind the owner's main house (which is currently not for rent). Furnishings are a lovely seaside decor, and parking is available.
The cottage is ideal for a couple or small family. It is so cozy that you will never want to leave. This is a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the summer by the sea!

The cottage is located in a very quiet neighborhood and set back from the street. Nicely furnished and very clean and comfortable. It's great having a dishwasher at a vacation rental. We enjoyed having coffee on the patio and just looking out at the woods behind the house. This is a perfect location if you like biking and boating activities such as kayaking and want to explore the hidden charms of the South Coast. Yes - we would rent this cottage again.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We stayed there in summer 2007. The cottage is as advertised, very small, great location. However we had 2 issues. First there was a smoke alarm going off in the basement that wasn't fixed for several nights. Second, a cleaning fee wasn't returned to us because one towel wasn't left in the correct location. Unfortunately based on these 2 issues my husband is unwilling to return to this property.
