Nous avons été très bien accueilli et conseillé par un propriétaire parlant très bien le Français. La location est spacieuse et bien équipée. Le quartier avec de nombreux commerçants est très agréable. si vous ne souhaitez pas découvrir la ville avec vos pieds (ce qui serai regrettable) se trouve à l'angle de la rue, une multitude de transports du taxi très utile et pas cher pour accéder à l’aéroport au bus en passant par le célèbre tram 28.

Nice appartment

Our big family (6 people) stayed in apartment for a week. We liked the apartment because it was very spacious; the bedrooms were separate, on the second floor of the apartment. It is about 15 min walk to the center of Lisbon, the famous 28 tram was very close, and supermarket was very close too, which was great. There were couple restaurants, one pizza place, with nice pizzas. The only disadvantage was the beds, there were very hard, you have to get used to it, but it is good for the spine :))

Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We were a group of 8 woman of middle age.This apartment has a very good price quality rating; the apartment is spacious and well equiped for 6 people. We were with 8, so 2 of us had to sleep on the couch, which is less comfortable.The location is ideal for visiting the center, as the famous tram 28 stops closeby. The owner and his wife are very friendly people. There is a supermarket next door and taxi's are cheap, so it is easy to reach the center. The apartment is close to 'Alfama'; the well known Fado area.

Gemütliche Wohnung in bester Lage

Wir haben mit unserer Familie hier ein paar wunderschöne Tage verbracht. die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich, perfekt ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Da wir ohne Auto vor Ort waren, war es für uns besonders gut, dass nicht nur die Straßenbahn gleich um die Ecke hält, sondern auch die Metrostation nicht zuweit entfernt liegt. Man kann sogar die Tickets ganz in der Nähe wieder aufladen. Auch der kleine Supermarkt, nur wenige Meter entfernt, hat uns langes Tütenschleppen erspart. Die Wohnung ist trotz der zentralen Lage sehr ruhig. Der Vermieter ist sehr bemüht und hilfsbereit. Auch wir wurden mit Brot und Käse, sowie mit zahlreichen Tips für unseren Aufenthalt versorgt. Wir können die Unterkunft nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt.

Apartamento grande y luminoso, con magnificas vistas. Muy acogedor y bien equipado. Fantástico trato por parte del propietario, con un detalle de bienvenida y toda la información precisa para recorrer la ciudad (mapas, guia). Gracias Rui. La zona está bién. Es un barrio popular, que te da la sensación de integrarte y ser menos turista. El tranvía 28 en la esquina y todo tipo de servicios a mano. En mejoras pondriamos un nuevo set de cuchillos, un armario en uno de los dormitorios (el único que no tiene) y quizás aire acondicionado en la habitación delantera, porque es la que tiene ruido de la calle y no nos permitió dormir con la ventana abierta. La parte negativa es el olor de la escalera (proviene del piso bajo y no afecta para nada a la vivienda) y los 3 pisos sin ascensor. Esto ultimo nos lo tomamos como entrenamiento para una ciudad que recorre colinas alegremente. En cualquier caso volveríamos sin duda alguna y lo recomendamos también sin duda.

We huurden het appartement voor 5 dagen met 6 personen. De ligging is ideaal in de wijk Rossio, met zicht op de Taag; tram 28 passeert om de hoek. Van hieruit kan je de ganse stad te voet verkennen. Appartement is mooi en luchtig ingericht. Drie ruime kamers, drie badkamers. Alles is op het appartement aanwezig. Stipte ontvangst door de sympathieke eigenaar die je graag vertelt over zijn stad. Een aanrader !

Five weeks were not enough!

Since we liked the look of this apartment from the photos and reviews, we decided to make Rui's flat our base in Portugal as we looked for a place to live permanently, while, at the same time, having room to invite friends over from the UK. It worked perfectly. Over the five weeks we were there, at least fifteen people passed through and they all loved it as much as we did. Why? well, first the views, then the sunniness, the cosiness, the location, the spaciousness, those beautiful wooden floors, that wonderful dining room to linger in after supper, the variety of restaurants just a few minutes away, the supermarket that stays open till 9pm every night and is just downstairs, and, above all, the friendliness of the owners! We had a couple of minor problems but they were taken care of straight away, with a smile, even if it happened to be a weekend or late evening. I cannot recommend this flat, this home, highly enough. Hola, somos una familia de Vigo que hemos pasado unos días en el Apartamento de Rui Pinto, que ha sido muy amable con nosotros. El apartamento genial, muy limpio y las fotos son lo que es, muy comodo y las vistas preciosas, desde donde se comprueba que es verdad por lo que a Lisboa le llaman la ciudad de la Luz, y a la que estamos deseando volver de vacaciones.

Wir (2 Erwachsene 2 Teenager) waren 1 Woche in der Wohnung von Rui Pinto und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt ideal, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Bus und Tram 28 sowie ein Taxistand und alle wichtigen Geschäfte im Umkreis von max. 100 m. Man kann das Stadtzentrum und viele Sehenswürdigkeiten (Kirchen, Aussichtspunkte Flohmarkt) gut zu Fuß erreichen. Die Wohnung ist mit allem was man braucht ausgerüstet. Sie ist sauber und gepflegt. Wir wurden vom Vermieter warmherzig empfangen und er hat uns zahlreiche Tips gegeben. Die Unterkunft ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert und wir würden uns dort jederzeit wieder einmieten.

A big thank you to you Rui for your help on our arrival - we had a fantastic stay at this lovely apartment and enjoyed every minute of our stay in Lisbon. The apartment has everything you could wish for and is a real home from home! It was spacious, bright and well equipped. With the supermarket a few steps away you will never run out of whatever you need and with the bus and tram stops close by you can easily get about and explore this lovely city. Great stay

This is a large, clean apartment that worked well for a family of five. The owner was very helpful and took the time to show us popular locations on the provided maps/ guide books. It has a wonderful neighborhood feel with groceries available a few doors down. It is only a short walk to a stop for Tram 28 and a little bit futher to a taxi stand. If you don't mind walking the Afama district, subway lines, square, etc. are also easy to get to. We enjoyed watching the sunrise out of the front windows of the apartment and the sunsets out of the back windows. We would stay here again if we get a chance to return to Portugal.

Just wonderful!

The appartment is exactly what is described by the photos. Cozy, full of light and very well ventilated. Just leave the windows opened and the breeze from the river will come. The apartament has a lot of space, so we could spread our extra luggage around without having to bump on it everytime. We felt ourselves at home. The neighbourhood is perfect. Two supermarkets just by the door. The producer market across the street. The "padarias" 1 block down the street. The electrico by the corner. We parked our car under our window every day (we stayed 7 days). Rui is a very nice person and very helpful, with several tips to make our trip even better. We couldn`t ask for more. I had other apartments on sight, in other districts, but I would go back to this area again, without a doubt. Thanks again Rui.

We're 4 Belgian students who visited Lisbon at the end of september. This apartment was very beautiful and spacious, the views of lisbon (by day and night) were overwhelming and it was situated nearby tram- and busstations. We do recommend you to walk trough Lisbon, you see and experience a lot more! Special thanks to Rui for the warm welcome and providing us with brochures and maps. We couldn't imagine a better place to stay!

A Fantastic apartment!

Our family of 4 stayed in Rui's apartment for a week while we toured around Lisbon. The apartment was absolutely wonderful! It was clean, spacious, nicely furnished and had all of the kitchen supplies that we needed to cook our meals. An added bonus was having the washing machine! There was a good grocery store steps away from the apartment that had everything we needed. Rui was a wonderful host. He met us when we arrived and surprised us with a welcome basket of treats. He spent time with us highlighting places to visit and supplied us with maps and books to use as a reference. The location was great. We enjoyed walking down hill exploring the Alfama and Baixa areas. We took the local bus or cabs home. Worthwhile side trips included visiting Sintra and the beach at Cascais, both easily accessed by train. The aquarium is a MUST SEE...definately the best one we have seen in Europe. Our fitness level increased by the end of the week after climbing the 4 flights of stairs several times a day!

From the moment we arrived at the door of this apartment we felt at home. The warm welcome we received and the wonderful welcome basket was such a wonderful surprise. The apartment is exactly as these photos show and is clean and spacious! The view from the windows is also wonderful. Our family of 4 stayed 4 nights in this apartment and it was within walking distance to local sight seeing and close to public transport. The owners are the most friendly people you will meet! I would recommend this rental to anyone!

Über den Dächern von Lissabon !

Eine idyllische Lage über den Dächern von Lissabon. Wunderschöne Altbauwohnung im obersten Stock, mit fantastischem Blick über die Stadt. Die Innenstadt ist zu Fuß erreichbar, in unmittelbarer Nähe befinden sich Bäckereien, Restaurants und andere kleinere Läden. Die Haltestelle der Linie 28 befindet sich quasi direkt vor der Tür. Wir haben den Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen; besonders die nette Begrüßung mit Brot und Käse und die vielen hilfreichen Tipps rund um Lissabon. Wir werden bestimmt noch einmal wiederkommen.

Excellent stay in Lisbon

I stayed at this apartment with a friend for a week in May. It is a great location, in a quiet neighborhood, very close to two grocery stores. Even though we could have taken the 28 tram from the waterfront area, we chose to walk up the hill each day, always managing to do it in the hottest part of the afternoon! Each day, we cooked breakfast and dinner in the apartment and had lunch out. The kitchen was one of the best equipped we've seen, and we have stayed at apartments all over the world. There was olive oil, salt, spices, paper towels, dishwashing tabs, knives, cutting board, even plenty of laundry detergent. We have stayed in apartments that have been stripped of every last useful item. Rui and his wife live right next door and go above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. There was a mix-up about the availability of a computer and we didn't bring a laptop. Rui brought his personal laptop over for us to use a few evenings. You cannot go wrong staying here.

Spacious flat with fantastic views

We spent our Easter break together with our grown-up children in Lisbon and thorougly enjoyed our stay. The flat is light and spacious and very comfortable, with incredible views in two directions. The neighbourhood is nice and friendly, not too touristy, with convenient shops more or less next door. It is not too far to walk to some of Lisbon's attractions, but the 28-tram has stops in both directions right around the corner - fabulous! I would recommend this apartment both to families and groups of friends, since it is big enough to provide both privacy and enough space to be together. Extra bonus: two and a half bathrooms!

Excelente apartamento

Un apartamento fantástico que se encuentra en el mismo estado que aparece en las fotos. Es ideal para familias o incluso un grupo de amigos, nosotros fuimos 5 personas y la comodidad era absoluta. Cuenta con tres cuartos de baño, amplias habitaciones y salón, totalmente equipado, es todo exterior por lo que la luz ilumina toda la casa por las mañanas y tiene unas bonitas vistas, sobre todo en la parte trasera de la casa. El barrio es muy tranquilo y tradicional, ya que al estar en la parte alta no es muy turístico lo que se compensa con la tranquilidad del lugar y cuenta con numerosas tiendas, supermercados, bares y restaurantes de barrio en los que se come de maravilla a precios muy interesantes. La tasca de Jaime muy cercana a la casa ofrece una noche a la semana fados cantados por los propios vecinos del barrio absolutamente recomendable. El propietario Rui y su esposa fueron muy amables y atentos y nos dieron toda la información necesaria sobre la casa, el barrio y lugares de interés. Es absolutamente recommendable después de un día de turismo por la espectacular Lisboa.

Wir (3 ältere Herren) haben eine sehr schöne Woche in Ruis sehr gemütlicher Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist hervorragend ausgestattet und liegt auch sehr gut, da vor dem Haus Bus, Straßenbahn und Taxi abfahren. Für einen Lissabon-Aufenthalt unbedingt zu empfehlen. We stayed in Lisbon for five days at home and we were all fine. The location is ideal, close to all major attractions of the city, metro, trams and stations. The description matches perfectly and the property was kept in good condition and clean. Rui was fantastic, polite and helpful. I stayed in this beautiful duplex apartment from Dec 19-21, 2010 with 3 friends. We had an amazing time in this lovely,clean and spacious place. Rui was a great host. We arrived late at night and he supplied us with some snacks. We were so thankful. He is very helpful and kind! We found the location of the apartment very good. I highly recommend this apartment. Sunny, Clean, Fabulous!

I stayed in this lovely sunny duplex apt. for 3 nights with 2 friends. The apartment is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the gorgeous views from every room. The kitchen is well supplied for those wanting to self-cater and would be great for a family. We appreciated the "modern" bathrooms which had showers in the bath tubs (as many european homes do not). Our "landlord" Rui is a dear and gentle man that anyone would be pleased to know. Although it's not located in the heart of town near lots of restaurants it's easy enough to walk or get on the #28 trolly which gets you just about anywhere. It's a great ride! I'd recommend this place to anyone wanting a homey, lovely place to stay while in Lisbon.

Three of us enjoyed this sunny and very pleasant apartment over a long weekend in Lisbon. The place is immaculate and well-stocked for a self-catering stay. "Landlord" Rui is lovely and very helpful. The location is a but out of the way, but Tram 28--a joyous and rumbling ride through the old city--compensated for that. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone. Lana, New York City

Beautiful house with great skyline!

This house is full of every comfort. Three baths, three double bedrooms, two perfect skylines. During our holidays in Lisbon we appreciate also the position of the the flat. It's near the famous tram 28, not so far by the metro (5 minutes walk), near a fantastic Miradouro (belvedere) from wich you could see the CAstle of Lisbon and the city center. The flat is clean and Rui is incredibile! Kind,serious and always disposable. Great apartment for a special holidays! I recommend this apartment to all who visit Lisbon

Ideal gelegene ansprechende Ferienwohnung

Wir waren als Familie für einen Kurzurlaub in Lissabon und haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter haben uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheissen (im Kühlschrank stand sogar schon die Grundversorgung mit Lebensmitteln bereit!). Sie waren jederzeit erreichbar und äußerst hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist sehr ansprechend und liebevoll eingerichtet. Für uns 6 Personen war mehr als genügend Platz. Der Blick über Lissabon und zum Tejo ist wirklich wunderschön. Verkehrtechnisch ist das Appartment ideal gelegen. Die Strasse ist recht ruhig, dennoch sind Bus- und Strassenbahnhaltestellen quasi um die Ecke. Für die Versorgung sind 2 kleine Supermärkte (einer mit Bäcker) gleich nebenan. Rundherum eine höchst empfehlenswerte Unterkunft. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen. Einzig anzumerken: Das steile Treppenhaus ohne Fahrstuhl ist für das Gepäcktragen eine Herausforderung. Für Senioren daher eventuell nur bedingt zu empfehlen.

We were five girls on a 5-days trip to Lisbon. This apartment was perfect for us. Spacious, clean and cozy, with great views over Lisbon. With tram and taxi stops almost directly outside the door it was easy to get around. Max 30 minutes walk to downtown. Shop around the corner where we bought fresh bread every morning. The family who rented out was pleasant and helpful. Can definitely recommend to families and friends on tour. There is no elevator in the hallway so heavy suitcase is not recommended.

We stayed in this wonderful apartment from 30th Dec until 2nd Jan2011,with my brother his wife and 2 girls. We had a wonderful time in this lovely spacious apartment with great views over Lisbon. Rui was a wondeful host meeting us on arrival and even supplying us with a bottle of champagne to see in the New Year . Great places to eat and we loved the 28 Tram this is a must We would highly recommend this apartment. Thanks Rui Frances Paul and Daniel Hussey

Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
