We needed a place to stay for just a few days while visiting houston for a wedding. We were very comfortable here in this cute little house. It reminded me of the house I grew up in! Pam was very nice and quick to respond with any questions I had. We would definitely want to come back and stay here for the next houston visit.

Owner response: We are glad you had a nice visit and for leaving the home so tidy, come back anytime.
We stayed here in this lovely, accomodating, very clean house for a month! This house made our stay in Houston very, very comfortable. The listing description was very accurate, but even prettier than the pictures show. The owner was amazing! she helped us when needed, but made us feel like it was ours for our stay. The back yard was great for our dog, much larger than I expected. The location was very convient for anywhere you wanted to go in Houston. The park down the street was just a block away. We used it everyday! (tennis court) very much fun! Dinner & shopping in the Heights District was a minute away. Also, the welcome pack was so nice after our long, long drive from California. I would recommend this house completely!!!

Outstanding experience. The owner/operator, Pam, is the best. Not only is she a fountain of knowledge about Houston, she is always cheerful and friendly. She is always available and responds immediately. The interior of the house is much more cozy and charming than the exterior suggests. The party of 4 adults, 2 little ones, and 2 large dogs were easily accomodated. The kitchen and baths were fully stocked. We cooked quite a bit, and never lacked utensils. The weather wasn't particularly good during our stay, so we missed the opportunity to make use of the large backyard, grill, and fire pit. This restored house in in the Heights, so lots of restaurants, bars, and shops in the middle of a quaint neighborhood. The hot Washington Avenue area is very close. Downtown is very close. Several parks and paths are just outside the front door. Great for walking the dogs. This was our first VRBO experience and it was a great one!

Our Second Home
Our Second Home
This beautiful bungalow quickly became home for my husband and me during our stay in Houston. The house is even more charming than it appears in the photos. The large backyard, where we spent many relaxing hours, was an oasis from the big city. Pam was a great neighbour. Not only did she ensure we were comfortable, she also offered great suggestions for restaurants and tricks to navigating the city. We look forward to returning to this historic Heights bungalow.

Owner response: Thank you for planting the seeds in the garden for the future visitors. The garden is now more complete with basil, rosemary, thyme, cilantro, and your lettuce, beans and spinach. You took great care of the home during your stay and it is appreciated. We are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay.
Such a sweet home,
Such a sweet home,
My family of five plus dog stayed here for a week and loved the home and yard. The home was very clean and loaded with charm. Pam saw to it that we had everything we needed and gave us great tips on area restaurants. Grilling in the huge back yard was our favorite. We will come back!!!,
