This is a wonderful family beach home in the lovely Water's Edge community in Folly Beach, SC that is uniquely designed in historical charleston fashion. Rencently upgraded and painted in 2013. Only a few blocks to the beach and one block over from 'downtown' Folly. This charming 3 bdrm, 3 full bath 1700 SqFt, 3 car garage home has wonderful amenities and many upgrades included that will guarantee you a comfortable and memorable stay.
Kitchen equipped with lovely granite counter tops. Hardwoods throughout the kitchen and living room. King bed in the master bedroom with Jacuzzi tub and stand up shower. Queen size bed in first guest room, with a private bath. Third bedroom has a full sized lovely bed from Pottery Barn. Sofa in living room has a pull out bed as well (Sleeps 8 in total, 6 in bedrooms).
Relax and sip your favorite afternoon drinks on our screened in private porch. Top floor private balcony off the master bedroom has perfect views of the River and breath taking sunsets. We stayed at the Stabenow's condo in Folly Beach for a family vacation in July and had a wonderful time. The accommodations were spacious enough for 8 adults. The location was perfect for walking to the beach or the many great bars and restaurants nearby. The pool at the condo is nice and the views are awesome! All in all, a great place to stay! We loved Folly Beach and plan to return. The owners of the condo couldn't have been easier to work with.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We certainly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful beachhouse. It was clean and open and roomy and being just across the road from the pool was awesome. We really used the screened in porch, also! Totally a fun time for our entire party.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

This was a perfect "home away from home" for our extended family belated Christmas vacation! And, Folly Beach is perfect for a winter getaway. The house was clean and very well appointed; we found everything we needed already there. Within easy walking distance of the beach and casual dining. (We loved the Lost Dog Cafe and Taco Boy!) The Stabenow's home was the perfect choice. It is roomy, bright and comfortable and the location is perfect. The unit is right across from the pool and literally blocks from the beach and restaurants. Charleston is conveniently located - approximately a 15-20 minute drive and only about a two hour drive to Savannah. Grocery stores, WalMart, drug stores, etc. are a 5 minute drive. A vacation for everyone - history, sightseeing, good restaurants, the pool and the beach. You may just decide to park the car and not move it again until it's time to leave. Our time at this rental was an excellent experience. My family shared this duplex with another family and there was plenty of room for all of us. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything worked properly and we had no issues during our stay. We were close enough to the beach and town so that we could walk there but far enough away so that we could relax. Beautiful Home, We loved the traditional Charleston style layout of the house. The hardwood floors and granite countertops in the kitchen are a great touch.Roomy bedrooms and baths were also terrific.
