One bedroom, open concept, fully furnished home that sits 10 feet above the ground and has a 24 foot wide, 8 deep covered veranda facing the Caribbean Sea. Beautiful tropical mixed hardwood floors throughout. Deep tiled kitchen counters with a dining peninsula and stools, gas range, microwave oven, fully equipped kitchen. The living area has a futon couch and a glass table and chairs that can be used either inside, or out on the veranda. The bedroom has a queen sized bed and an attached bath with a deep walk in stone tiled shower.

About the owner: We live in New Hampshire, USA and have family and friends in Placencia that have lived there for over twenty years.
Why the Owner Chose Placencia Village:
We actually fell in love with Placencia on our first visit close to 10 years ago. Once we decided to build a small home there our search for the ideal location began. We found this lot that faces the sea, with unobstructed views of the Caribbean. Our property is a the end of a small community development, with common land that can't be developed between our property and the beach. The home is built from local hardwood to be strong and beautiful. Facing east is the sea and looking toward the back of the house to the west, a glass window in the peak of the wall lets in the western sun.
The Unique Benefits at this Bungalow:
The view of the Caribbean Sea from the hammock on the veranda is just stunning. There is always a breeze coming off the water and if the breeze is up, you can hear the waves breaking on the beach. The house is a nice size for two and with the open concept, peaked roof and ceiling fans, one is always comfortable.
