This cabin is located on a private resort with four cabins, pond, meadow, park with firepit, horseshoes and tire swings.
Located adjacent to the Deschutes National Forest in Camp Sherman, near the Metolius river. Snow skiing, golf, hiking, biking, fishing, water skiing, sailing are all within 1-15 miles of the cabin. If you enjoy shopping, movies, wine, restaurants and music or rodeo events the town of Sisters is just 12 miles down the road.
The master bedroom has one queen bed and bathroom; smaller bedroom has one twin bed for one person; living room with coach, leather chair and 100's of movies; guest full bathroom; complete small kitchen with new stove and refrigerator.
You can fine newer, fancy and much more expensive properties, but this cabin and setting is very special and affordable.
There is high speed DSL wireless internet on the property, post office at the old country store located along the river 1 mile down the road or bike trail. Cell service works at times, good reception is just down the road for those important calls.
This cabin rents for the week or monthly. Weekly rentals begin on Wednesday morning and end on Sunday afternoon (5 Days). There are no nightly only rentals due to the price. Monthly rentals are allowed if requested and availability.

About the owner: I live in Madras Oregon where I work as a private business person along with serving elected office on several occasions. Most recently Mayor and in the past a Jefferson County Commissioner, City Manager and lobbyist.
Why the Owner Chose Camp Sherman:
This property was the former Twin View Resort operated by a long time Camp Sherman family. A group of rafting friends in Madras purchased the property, each family buying one cabin to use on the weekends when work allowed. This property was chosen for the location and all season outdoor recreational activities. Centrally located for them all.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The summer days are warm, not too hot. The nights are cool, open a window and let the breeze cool you off. In the winter you can watch the snow fall, ski from the cabin or drive 10 minutes up the mountain to Hoodoo Ski Resort. Later enjoy a movie, dinner and wine in Sisters must a few minutes away. The very best of all worlds come together in Camp Sherman.
