I have now stayed in all the properties owned by the owners of this condo, and I have to say, you can trust their commitment to quality. This is an absolutely charming one bedroom condo, which really does have the finest location in the town of Santa Fe. I stayed there in July, for a week, to see the Santa Fe summer opera. I almost want to keep this place a secret, it is so great. It is upstairs, above the Turner Carroll Gallery and Desert Son boot store, located in one of Canyon Road's historic buioldings. If you don't know Canyon Road, it is the most charming little road in all of Santa Fe. This is where you will find the small boutique galleries and jewelery stores, that sell the finest and most unusual in art, jewelery, boots, and clothing. I was delighted to discover that this condo is in the heart of the galleries and restaurants of Canyon Road. It is exactly across the street from the only five star (at least they say so!) restaurant in Santa Fe--the historic Geronimo restaurant. So, I could walk from the condo to look through Canyon Road galleries during the day, and then go have a cocktail and light dinner before heading off to the opera in the evening. The condo is furnished tastefully with fine art and nice furniture. The bed was very comfortable and seemed new. The art was exceptional, being that it came from the gallery downstairs! The owners seemed to have tried to honor the history of Canyon Road, by incorporating antique rugs, handmade tiles, and New Mexican iron door pulls and the likes. The property shows great attention to detail. It would be perfect for a couple or a single person at any time of year.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 23/28

Thanks to Tonya and her crew. We loved staying right on Canyon Road. The location worked out wonderful and the space was perfect. My fiancé and I could enjoy a lovely dinner in or walk across the street to Geronimo"s. I look forward to coming back soon and also sharing this find with my friends who want to get away for a quick weekend or a bit longer holiday. This was a true gem, and we will certainly not hesitate to come back. The location is wonderful - above an art gallery on the upper part of Canyon Road. It's a gentle fifteen minute walk to the Plaza, but you'll certainly take longer, since there are so many good art galleries to peek into en route. There's a private car parking place in the rear, and a good coffee shop a half block away. Then there's Geronimo just across the street - probably the best (and one of the most expensive!) restaurant in town. The staff in the art gallery is especially knowledgeable and helpful in suggesting good restaurants, places to see, the nearest grocery stores, etc. The apartment is immaculate, with a charming ambience and everything you could want. The bed is comfortable. There is a washer/dryer, the kitchen is well supplied (even has a coffee grinder!), and there is high-speed internet and satellite TV. We spent a delightful week there, and could have spent three weeks in Santa Fe. Thank you!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.
