Our remodeled vacation home has everything you'll ever need.
The Sandy Beach is just across the street and the Bay is in your backyard, with a fantastic view and impressive morning sunrises! Clean sandy beaches and outstanding evening sunsets are only a few of the memorable experiences that await you on the southern shores. Lake Ontario and Sodus Bay are home to one of the Great Lakes' most outstanding fleet of Trophy Fishing charter boats. Experienced captains will put you on top of "World Class" award winning King Salmon, Lake, Brown, and Rainbow Trout, as well as Steelhead and Skamania hybrids.
The silver waters of the Bay also are home to trophy Pike, Bass, Walleye, and Perch. You can simply walk out the back door and rent an aluminum fishing boat of your own to tackle these monsters yourself!
If you’re bringing your boat, we have slips available for you to rent directly behind the home in a nicely maintained 28 slip Marina. A free public launch is also available just minutes away and a marina launch is right behind the home as well. How convenient is that!
You’ll find just about everything you need within walking distance of our vacation home. There are gift shops to explore and restaurants offering some of the area’s finest dining on the waters edge and live entertainment outdoors each evening. Tea rooms with specialty coffees and pastries.
A short two minute ride in the car will take you to the outstanding and highly acclaimed "Sodus Bay Heights" golf course overlooking the bay. Challenging yet relaxing, this is one of the finest courses in upstate new york.
During July and August, you can walk to Sunday afternoon outdoor concerts at the Historical Sodus Bay Lighthouse Museum overlooking Lake Ontario. There's even a Newly constructed Family Friendly Playground within 100 yards from the back deck. Making this a Great place for a picnic lunch with the kids where you can relax & enjoy a day at "The Bay". Our local chamber also offers outdoor activities such as movies and special guest appearances for the family to enjoy in July and August.
If you are one who likes sight seeing, there are lake charters that will take you to the infamous Lake Bluffs. Considered by many as the seventh wonder of the world. Breathtaking views of these naturally made Bluffs will remain with you forever.
Our vacation home was newly remodeled in 2004 and everything is up to date. The rooms are large, sparkling clean and comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need to prepare a simple cookout or a large family reunion dinner. Complete with full-size appliances, microwave oven, coffee maker, cookware,dishes,silverware and even a crockpot. We will also supply garbage bags, dish soap, dish towels, and an iron.

The large living room is new and stylish, with very comfortable furniture, Digital Cable "HIGH DEF" HDTV, VCR, and stereo.
High Speed "Wireless" Internet access is available only at "No Charge"!
Sleeping arrangements for 12-14 people. Three double beds,two single beds, two sets of bunk beds, two folding day beds,and cots if needed. Sheets,blankets,and pillows are provided but,if you have a favorite pillow or blanket,bring it along. Fans are provided in every room. If we don't have it,we'll get it for you!
Reserved docking is available for your boat at the Marina directly behind the rental home. Docking fee is additional $100.00/week.

Rented for a week with myself & wife, mother-in-law (87), 2 daughters, & 5 grandsons (ages 1 to 15). There was plenty of room for all. Everyone had a great time. The lot is adjacent to the town softball field, so plenty of room for the kids to play. Good views of the bay from the porch. Walking distance to everything. The grandsons & I enjoyed a day of charter fishing on the lake. Hard to imagine how it could have been better.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

25 Brits arrived for family wedding to local girl. Villa was first class, in fantastic position near the bay. It had everything one would need, and more. Very comfortable, clean and tidy. Sodus Point has a handful of very good restaurants and bars, and a superb gift shop where one can buy gifts, clothes, and nougat to die for. Every person we met was charming and accepted us Brits with open arms. We could not have had a better time and cannot wait to return. Highly recommended. Owners were wonderful and very helpful..

My family has stayed here the past few years, and we just love the cottage and the surrounding areas. We are planning our vacation there this year and just cant wait to check in and unwind. Bob and Cindy are just wonderful people, and gracious hosts. Each year we pick a day trip to travel to why we are there and explore, and we always do fishing and hit the local wineries we even found a great amusement park this past year overlooking Lake Ontario. Our kids are safe here and they to are looking forward to another great vacation. The cottage has literally everything you could need, this makes packing for your trip so much easier. The cottage is clean and the backyard is just awesome, looking forward to sitting by the bon fire enjoying the live bands from across the bay.

This place is like home. Great view of the bay. Good if you have young children, with lots of room for them to run, but far enough from the water that you don't have to worry. Home is very clean with everything you need. Bathrooms are new. We have just had our second annual visit with our kids and grandkids and other family there and will be there again next year. Just don't take our week there! :) Sue and Jim Fackelman

we have a wonderful time every year, the cottage is very clean. everything you need is right there for you. every year there is something new, one year there was a new bathroom upstairs, the next a new kitchen floor and this year there was a new flat screen tv. the location is great , we can walk everywhere. there are restaurants, live entertainment, beaches and boating. bob and cindy are geart owners and very helpful

If you want a nice relaxing vacation, with a great place to stay,,,,,, This is it. Excellent accomodations. Very clean. Owners were great hosts. Just about everything you need is included. Everything to do is within walking distance, to include a beautiful beach. Totally recommend this property.

My group of 10 people stayed at this cottage and we all fit comfortably and had a great time. This cottage might seen small at first but when you explore it you will find it to be very roomy, comfortable and clean. The green yard space adjacent and available for this cottage is outstanding and very large...great for kids, games, etc...The lake views from the back of the house and porch was also awesome. The owner was great to work with and very accessible. Will definitely rent this cottage again and recommend it.
