The four stylish bedrooms, contain luxury sheets, down comforters, terry cloth robes and three and a half bathrooms.

Enjoy the thrills of childhood as you jump the waves of the wavepool, try surfing on Flow Rider, drop 4 stories on the family, double or single tube slides or relax in the hot tubs at the H2Oooohh Indoor Water Park.
Enjoy a leisurely 1/2 block walk to the swimming / fishing of Locust Lake, rated 'Best in the Country Trout Fishing' by Pennsylvania Game and Fish. This is only one of the five beautiful lakes within Locust Lake Village . Enjoy fishing on the serene banks of the lake or sunbathe on its sand beach.

We had a wonderful family vacation while staying in this beautiful home. Our group of six adults and two small children had plenty of room for family gatherings and for privacy when we wanted. The home is beautiful and the photos do not do it justice! There were so many unexpected "extras" that are not normally found in rentals. The wonderful welcome basket and wine were a much appreciated gift! We spent lots of time sightseeing - train ride across the Lehigh River Gorge, visit to quaint Jim Thorpe village, Bushkill Falls, Camelback (zipline and segway activities for the adults!!! and waterpark for the kids), Martin Guitar Factory in Nazereth, Crayola Factory, and a day trip to Philadelphia. The men fished in the nearby lake and we loved seeing deer and wild turkeys on the property. The only negative we experienced during our week in July was the unexpected heat wave that scorched the entire eastern US with temps in the high 90's and low 100's! There are 13 ceiling fans in the home and with the mountain air, open windows at night, and the ceiling fans and table fans, the house would normally be very pleasant. When we arrived, the week's forecast was for highs in the 70's, but that prediction quickly changed and it was HOT! However, it didn't keep us from having a full week of fun activities! We highly recommend this vacation home! Lisa was wonderful throughout the rental process and called twice during our stay to be sure we had everything we needed and to see how we were doing with the hot temps.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Our 10-person, three generation family spent Christmas week at this warm, inviting house. It could not have been more perfect for us. Lisa's warmth and desire to accommodate us made it a joy to plan our vacation. Thank you, Lisa. We loved many things about the house. First and foremost was the layout. With three separate "living" areas, well spread apart, we were able to give a purpose to each room: the 'quiet" room was mainly for adults; the sun room was for everybody; and the game room was mainly for the kids. It worked! Secondly, as many others have said, the attention to detail was extraordinary. We wanted for NOTHING. The house was decorated for Christmas, a unexpected bonus. Finally, the house was so comfortable. Every couch and chair invited naps! Since we spent a lot of time indoors during a very snowy week, this was important. The grandkids took advantage of the outdoor amenities at Locust Lake Village -- snowboarding on the ski slope, sledding on the hill, and ice skating on the pond. Thanks for great family week. We just returned from a wonderful week long vacation at this wonderful Pocono property. This is our third year renting from Lisa and Rich. The owners are extremely nice and very eager to help. They called us our first night there to make sure everything was OK! It really does feel like a Bed and Breakfast. Lisa has a five inch binder with local activities and restaurants. My boys love the bowl of snacks on the table when we arrive. The linen and towel service is really worth the $10 per bedroom. I don't go home with tons of laundry to do! Everything in this home is perfectly maintained, clean and comfortable. My elderly mother vacations with us and the first floor bedroom with attached bathroom is perfect for her. This is a great home for a relaxing and fun packed family vacation.Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

What a great home and location for a celebration of retirement and 45 years of marriage with our "kids" and grandboys! The Chalet is perfect for our three families with spaces for gathering and "retreating" both inside and out. And it is better equipped/furnished than any home or condo we have stayed at. Thank you Lisa and Richard--you are the ultimate hosts! Cheers!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Wow, That was the first thing I said upon entering your beautiful home. Lisa and Rich, I am so glad my sister find you and your home. I couldn't have asked for a nicer place for my family and I to spend my 40th birthday weekend. It was so warm and cozy (every room) and you supply us with lots of fun and games and suggestions and you leave us with nothing to worry about, you thought of everything. My family and I all loved it and I am sure you will be hearing from some of them but for me personally, the extra step you took to make sure I had a birthday banner and lots of noise makers for when my big 40 arrived was very, very thoughtful. I shall recommend and absolutely return to your lovely home. Thank you again so, so much!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Lisa and Rich: You should be very proud of yourselves!! Your home is absolutely beautiful and, I do believe, you thought of everything to make your guests' stay an easy, carefree one!! Thank you so very much. We had a wonderful time. I also wanted to mention to you that we took your recommendation and went to the brunch at the Blakeslee Inn and Restaurant. We all loved it. You really are terrific and I appreciate all of the personal attention you have shown us. I am sure I will be talking with you in the future!!Did you find this review helpful? Dear Lisa, A little hesitation renting on line and site unseen but from the moment I opened your door I was pleasantly surprised and relieved. Your home was everything and more than I anticipated..You and rich really do put so much into this home to make anyone feel right at home without the stress..The pictures do not do the home justice as you already know..The house is enormeous inside and room for many..The three seperate living rooms with fireplaces are a treasure..Of course i wish i had the secluded masterbedroom over the rec room..Pool table was great, level and plenty of room to play.. I think the most exciting part for my kids was feeding those deer by hand right off the deck..Thanks for all you both do to make this home everyone else's..Hope to return as soon as we can!!!
