We had a wonderful holiday in your French home thank you. You have a lovely comfortable home which was probably the best house in France that we have stayed in. Was very impressed with the well stocked kitchen, comfy bed and power shower! It was a lovely place to spend our first holiday with our 3 month old daughter (also, thanks for the thick travel cot mattress!). Cannot think of any negative comments at all. We are thinking of coming back next year, it was a real home from home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Your home is absolutely BEAUTIFUL (and MUCH bigger than we expected!) And your neighbors are lovely! Madam brought us over a jar of her delicious jelly (I think it was black current??). We enjoyed it on our croissants in the morning, and with the tasty camembert we picked up from…….you guessed it….Camembert! ?Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I just wanted to drop you a note thanking you for enabling us to have such a wonderful spot to call home for a week. Everything exceeded our expectations. The adventures to the “super store” in Bagnoles were fun, the people were so friendly, and we had no problems finding the boulangeries, etc.! Our last dinner there we ate at the restaurant in the Bois Jolie Hotel in Bagnoles, and it was a fantastic meal. We loved the old castle at Domfront, as well as all our day trips to the Normandy Beaches, Mont St Michel, etc. Thanks again! KrisDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

La Coulonge is amazing - do not let this find slip through your fingers. This is clearly a much loved home and every conceivable requirement you may need is available. We received the warmest welcome and La Coulonge is certainly the cleanest stay we have ever experienced. The Owner gives clear concise information with local details ensuring your stay runs smoothly. La Coulonge is in an area that has so many interesting areas and attractions to visit whilst offering a quiet seclusion to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day. I do not know how the Owner can be apart from this homeDid you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

A wonderful warm welcome, the best we have ever received, the outside light being left on for us was just so special. Both A. and I had a wonderful winter break at your absolutely fabulous French home. I padded around your home as if I were the Madam of the house, I have a wonderful imagination and thoroughly enjoyed myself keeping 'my' French home. There is certainly an essence of you there even in your absence. You just cannot help but respect such a wonderful home. I will certainly leave positive feedback and many thanks for popping the deposit back so quickly. We shall certainly be knocking on your door again if our travels take us past your home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hi Linda We had a fantastic holiday thank you. Your cottage is beautiful and it was a real pleasure to stay at your home. It really is a warm and welcoming home - we loved what you have done and came home with lots of ideas on what to do with our own home! The decor and furnishings, as well as the gardens, are beautiful. The La Coulonge area is also beautiful and we had a really relaxing time in and around the area. Your neighbour was also very kind and helpful, collecting in our washing when we were out on a rainy day. We loved Bagnoles and the kids loved the lake at La Ferte Mace. The chateau at Lassay was also beautiful. Many thanks for all your help and for opening your home to us. We hope to return one day.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Hello Linda! We have had a wonderful time here at La Coulonge! Your home is soo beautiful, peaceful and comfortable. I wanted to thank-you for sharing your haven with us, we have felt right at home and the bottle of wine, delicious, was such a welcoming touch. Domfront, Mont St. Michel, it was also great!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Dear Linda Many thanks for your prompt return of the deposit. The only thing broken was our hearts at leaving that lovely house.Every morning I awoke to the sound of silence-something we rarely hear in this overcrowded little island.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

Hello Linda Your house is so beautiful. The weather wasn't very nice but we still got out everyday to pretty much every direction and we did have a couple of nice days. Went to Juno beach, St Malo, Mont St Michel, The Loire Valley, Rouen and of course all the little towns around your house (Lassay Les Chateaux was my favourite). I think the towns in your area have so much more charm than the towns in the Loire valley and the towns driving back to Beauvais. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, it has everything anyone would want and more out of a rental. What a great place for you to retire! :)Did you find this review helpful?
