The apartment was gorgeous, very large and in a good neighborhood. The pictures provided don't do the property justice. There isn't anything we needed that wasn't provided. Apartment was very clean, well maintained and quiet. Good neighborhood with everything we needed nearby. Also very convenient to the subway/train system. I would recommend this property to others for thier stay in Paris.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family of four loved this apartment, its neighborhood and it made our stay in Paris, well, wonderful. Top shelf accommodations both attractive and comfortable. Quiet. Located in great neighborhood made better by guest info book from owners that explain local history and attractions of the area. Easy access to Metro., etc. Added perc - the owners provide concierge service, and we were met by a capable and friendly person who let us in and helped us get settled. We will be back!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

It didn't take long to feel an attachment to your home away from home. The conveniences you have provided are in a word "complete". I can't think of anything you haven't thought through in providing total comfort.

What a wonderful week--made all the more memorable and comfortable with this lovely apartment! It was all of the little things that really stood out--the lavender soaps and sachets, for example! Thanks for everything! The only negative is all the weight we gained from the delicious cheese, bread, pate and wine!

Our 12 days on rue Truffaut have been magical. The apartment provides us all our needs. Its location to nifty bakeries and restaurants satisfied our every need. We were here with our grandson who just turned 14--what a great experience for him. Thanks for this wonderful setting to show him Paris. C'est magnifique!

We've had a wonderful stay here on rue Truffaut. We loved the beautiful apartment, the helpful books and maps, and the beautiful village that was a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle elsewhere. Although we come to Paris every year, this is the first time since 2005 that our schedule has been such that we have been able to stay at rue Truffaut. It's a wonderful apartment in a great neighborhood and we hope to return again.

I've had a great stay in this lovely apartment. I will miss the pain au chocolat and the apricot tarts from the two great bakeries around the corner. The marche biologique on boulevard des Batignolles Saturday morning was terrific. I wish I could buy duck breast filets like that at home. I spent my days soaking up culture all around Paris.It was great to come back to the apartment, watch the Gilmore Girls in French, listen to the neighbor practicing piano and put my feet up.

These last two weeks have been wonderful and I am sad to leave. Usually, we stay in the 7th or 15th, but we stumbled on this arrondissement last year and thought it was almost like the 7th, but without all the touristy stuff. We love it here. It's almost impossible to walk one block without running into a boulangerie.

Where to begin? Our trip was simply amazing! Thank you so much for sharing your lovely Paris retreat with us. It was perfect! Your welcome book provided many helpful suggestions, particularly where to dine! We spent all week trying to decide who had the best baguette, the best pain au chocolat, the best ice cream (we adored the cone with the ice cream shaped like a flower), and the fromage. Thank you for sharing your beautiful, comfortable apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in Paris. We had fun exploring the neighborhood, with highlights being Augustine Boulangerie, the Saturday organic market, Primeurs 17 and Famille Mary. The kids enjoyed Lire et Ecrire, and my husband and I enjoyed several nice wines from the patient folk at Le Vin En Tete. We put kilometers on our shoes during the days and it was lovely to know that at the end of the day we could come "home", cook a great meal and enjoy a glass of wine. Thank you!

We have enjoyed every moment in this charming apartment--from the luxury linens to the well-equipped kitchen--everything has been perfect. We have stayed in Paris many times, but this is our first time in Batignolles and we have thoroughly enjoyed the neighborhood. Your Paris tour book library as been helpful in showing us new areas to explore. We will return to Paris in June. What a great way to enjoy Paris! The apartment was lovely, relaxing and superb! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this comfortable apartment in such a charming neighborhood. The kitchen is well-equipped and we've enjoyed preparing dinner "chez nous" every night. Before dinner, we take time to walk over to the lovely little park with the waterfall and pond, full of geese and ducks, and regally presided over by a splendid pair of black swans. We enjoy watching the children's delight in the scene.

As others have stated before us, the combination of having the sights and sounds of Paris practically at our doorstep, while having the ability to setp off the grands boulevards into the beautifully appointed and comfortable apartment--unbeatable!The apartment is delightful. We had many a morning coffee on the balcony, cooked a number of delicious meals from goods found at the marché, and were plesantly surprised how the neighborhood quieted down at night. You most definitely have a gem, and we hope to return.

How lucky can we be to spend three weeks in lovely Paris, and the only way was to spend it in a warm, comfortable apartment and neighborhood. A word of advice for those here in the future. Quickly get the tourist things over with so you can then get out and experience Paris as the Parisians do.

Thanks for sharing this very cozy Parisian nest. It really has been a home away from home, and a great base from which to make forays and rambles around Paris. A particular delight was finding a musical recital on Sunday afternoon at the "salon de thé" just a short stroll away. This was a "blue chip" Paris experience.

This is our sixth trip to Paris and the third time we've rented an apartment, but the first time we've stayed in an authentic French neighborhood with no tourists and in an apartment furnished and decorated to suit the impeccable taste of the owners. We loved it!
