Our week here has been "magnifique" and our two children don't want to leave--especially our 5 year-old who has made new friends everyday at Square des Batignolles. The neighbourhood is so friendly and the ambience the best in the world.

We certainly had great fun getting to know your little corner of Paris. I particularly enjoyed the view from the kitchen window with my first cup of coffee--window boxes, sparrows, chimneys and beautiful blue skies.

This is our sixth trip to Paris and the third time we've rented an apartment, but the first time we've stayed in an authentic French neighborhood with no tourists and in an apartment furnished and decorated to suit the impeccable taste of the owners. We loved it!

We have shared a magical Christmas week at rue Truffaut--a "family reunion" with our 23 year-old daughter who is teaching in Beirut. Your lovely apartment has felt like home. We'll never forget strolling in the Square des Batignolles on Christmas afternoon, surrounded by happy families, colorful birds, elegant greenery and grand 19th century apartment buildings rising around us. Thank you for sharing this most comfortable and elegantly appointed apartment.

When we leave tomorrow morning it will be so hard to close the door and walk away, knowing that we'll be saying goodbye--again--to Paris and, for the first time, to this apartment. It truly is a magical space. The apartment truly is a home and we shall miss it.

We had a most enjoyable time in Paris. We immediately felt at home in your apartment and took advantage of the location. How fantastic is was to have an excellent bakery and good restaurants so close by. Your info portfolio is amazingly thorough and very helpful.

Our visit to Paris was fabulous. We are so happy we chose this apartment. It was beautiful, clean and had everything we could possibly need. Your welcome book was so helpful and Lauren welcomed us warmly. We had plenty of space for our family of four and enjoyed some quiet evenings out on the terrace. We loved the bakery around the corner and found the location to be just perfect! Thank you!

We loved the library of tour books, especially the ones on shopping! We had some of our best meals here and your wonderfully equipped kitchen certainly helped.

It was my great good fortune to find your website and then the apartment. It was a pleasure to stay there. It was clean, airy, refurbished, carefully and tastefully appointed. You have done a wonderful job and made this traveller's stay a real experience. My walks and explorations around the neighborhood were so enjoyable and made me feel like a Parisian--unless I had to communicate, of course--but the local merchants and residents were all friendly and helpful. With your good taste and attention to detail, the apartment is better than a 5-star hotel. Clean, comfortable, colorful--how could one ask for more?

We loved the apartment. It was clean and nice. It was easy to get to everything. We especially loved all the advice and information the owners prepared in a notebook for visitors. It helped us to pick restaurants, etc. We also appreciated the owners' help and advice prior to the trip. Their information was so helpful. We truly had a wonderful time in Paris!!!

This was our third trip to Paris and quite possibly our best one yet. The apartment was lovely and very well located. It's a quick walk to Place de Clichy or Villiers Metro with access to subway lines 2, 3 and 13. Several times we walked down to Elise Madeleine to visit Hediard, Fauchon, and La Maison du Chocolat. It's also an easy walks through Montmarte to visit Sacre Coeur. The neighbourhood itself offers every amenity: an organic farmers market each Saturday, outstanding bakeries, fromageries, wine stores, cafes, restaurants and other shops. Our 2 year old daughter loved the neighbourhood, especially Square des Batignolles with its swings, slides and carousel. We would love to have stayed longer and hope to return soon...

We did indeed have a terrific time in Paris--in no small measure because we enjoyed your flat so much. We had never been in the Batignolles area and found it completely delightful--as were the restaurants we tried. Our Paris friends, who were curious to see the apartment that we raved about all through lunch, were very much impressed with the way in which it was furnished--as were we. It was comfortable, convenient, warm, and altogether beyond our expectations. As for our visiting again--I am already making plans, or I should say at this point, dreams that I hope will become plans to return to your apartment. Thanks for making a wonderful holiday possible.

We cannot say enough about how great our stay was! The place is very well-situated, enormous compared to hotel rooms in Paris, comfortable, handsomely appointed, reasonable in price, easy to navigate, and very easy to use. Both the beds are comfortable and your instruction manual is a confused American's dream! We hadn't spent time in Batignolles before this visit, and really enjoyed exploring the neighborhood. We were really pleased with the internet hookup which allowed us to be in contact with family and friends in the U.S. without big phone bills. You can count on us to be in touch every time we travel to Paris--perhaps now it'll be a bit more often, since we've found such a satisfactory place. You will certainly get references from us when our friends go to Paris.

For the last 5 years we have e-rented apartments in different cities and by now we consider ourselves able to imagine how they would look like from the websites´ descriptions and a few questions to the owners. We were pleasantly surprised by this property in Paris. The info provided about the apt and the neighborhood was totally accurate and the apt is full of details showing that the owners care a lot and the result is a cozy and comfortable environment, great for nice evenings after long walks and sight seeing. We strongly recommend the experience and hope you will enjoy Paris as much as we did this time.

We had a wonderful time in Paris and wish we could have stayed longer. The apartment was very comfortable, even with four people, and we loved the neighborhood, which was entirely charming. We felt very safe, even when returning home late at night. Lauren was most helpful in explaining numerous points about the apartment, the neighborhood and the city. In fact, she was encyclopedic. Your restaurant list was very helpful, and we dined at three of the restaurants you recommeneded. One night we had a very lively time in the little bar on the corner where we stopped for a nightcap. We were welcomed with open arms and ended up dancing with the other patrons. Across from the bar was a boulangerie, which was very convenient. The pain viennois was a real winner, but all the breads we tried were delicious. We would like to have had lunch or dinner at the little Russian restaurant down the street, but never got the chance. In the apartment, we had plenty of closet space, the drapes kept the light out on sunny mornings, the beds were very comfortable, and we had an abundance of towels. It was handy to have a dining table for breakfast and we had more than enough dishes and kitchen utensils. Would we go back? Yes, yes, yes and we would like to stay longer. What are the rates for a month?

The apartment is absolutely charming and is in a wonderful neighbourhood. It is an easy 10 minute bus or metro ride to the tourist district and easy walking distance to the Monmantre district. If you are there on a Saturday to not miss the wonderous steet market about 3 blocks from your door. I would hearltly reccommend staying there . The owners are very nice as are those who meet you there in Paris. Two thumbs up. Way up.
