Rosa Muerta / Acido Dorado

Acido Dorado and Rosa Muerta are a house and poolhouse in Joshua Tree, California titled together Pretty Vacant Properties. We have built a new kind of contemporary architecture that offers you a chance to live in the moment and re-create your own world . . . if only for a weekend. The single most valuable thing we offer, that even the most deluxe hotels can only pretend to, is authentic leading edge architecture that is new, engaged in current culture, and a truly unique place.

Something special happens when you find yourself in a place that isn't an imitation of somewhere else. There is a great sense of focus, and the time and place are truly your own. We offer the most luxurious accommodations in the Joshua Tree National Park area in a place you will never forget.

When we started this project there were 5 vacation rentals in town- now there are more than 50.
