wow! we stayed here with our family, and it felt like we were in Europe. Everything about this house and the amenities are top notch. Deluxe linens and beds, fine antiques and a gourmet kitchen. We did some research and found that this house was built by W. Randolph Hearst, for his mistress Marion Davies. The house is literally sitting above Malibu beach, and the pounding waves make sleep seem like a luxury. The property is exceptionally well maintained. The outdoor patio areas are great for entertaining. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and friendly. The owners are very accomodating, and returned our deposit withn the week.. If you"re going to Los Angeles, and want a bit of oldschool Luxury, stay at this house.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, families with young children, girls getaway.
