Come to the mountains and stay in our Brand New 2 bedroom 1.5 bath Carriage House with great views on a 10 acre estate. Enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the deck of the master bedroom. This property offers the perfect getaway for couples that love outdoor activity or an intimate setting for two to enjoy some romance in a mountain setting. This property offers granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances, vaulted ceilings, wood floors and a private patio. You can even bring your horses and board them in the custom barn below the carriage house with 6 acres of wood fenced pasture. There are miles of mountain trails directly from the residence to the top of the mountain for either hiking or horseback riding. Walk down to the Pigeon River to enjoy local fly fishing or just listen to the sound of rushing water. Our property is about 20 minutes from the picturesque mountain town of Waynesville NC and 35 minutes to Asheville. We are also only 20 minutes to the Cataloochee Ski Resort & Ranch for great skiing or horseback riding. Whitewater rafting is about 30 minutes away and the grocery store is about 20 minutes. There quite a few nice restaurants in Waynesville and tons in Asheville. There are also very nice shops on Main Street. There is great golfing at The Waynesville CC, The Maggie Valley CC and The Laurel Ridge CC which are all within 20 minutes from the house. Venture to Asheville and visit the historical Biltmore Estate all within 35 minutes of this property.

About the owner: In 2003 my wife Heather and I came to Western North Carolina and fell in love with the mountains and its people. After putting on our hiking boots and looking at properties all over the area we found our dream property in the Crabtree area of Haywood County. This is where we built our dream mountain home that we would love to share with you. We look forward to many years of living our dream, which most definitely includes horse back riding, hiking and getting to know all the beautiful areas of Western North Carolina.
