This country style estate was entirely renovated in 1997 consisting of 5 bedrooms, 3.5 baths and attached to a great red barn including a hayloft. The house was entirely redecorated with careful attention paid to maintaining its charm and character of an old farm house. The property consists of 15 acres of land with two ponds of which the larger is spring fed, great for swimming and in the winter for ice skating. Our stunning gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and the center piece of our home.
The estate is close to both Millbrook and Rhinebeck and New York City is a 75 minute drive. There are many, many cultural and sporting activities as well as colleges such as Bard, Vassar, Marist and the Millbrook School a short distance away. For health and wellness, the Omega Institute is a 5 minute drive from the property and the Culinary Institure of America is close by to. There are many local markets, farms, apple picking and wineries to.
While you are surrounded by nature and in a very private and quiet setting, there is a great deal of fun and exciting activities to explore close by - enjoy the best of both worlds!
