WOW!!!!! An unbelievable place
WOW!!!!! An unbelievable place
Our women's group just got back from the weekend trip and we can't stop talking about it. From the first contact to the last, Ms. Sharry has been wonderful. Always right there to answer any question. The cabin, in one word is Unbelievable. It was beautiful and exactly what we needed. The views, the quiet, the rooms, the kitchen, the fireplace all first rate. I would highly reccomend this cabin to anyone needing a getaway. You will return refreshed and re-energized. I know we all did. Thanks Ms. Sharry for sharing your little piece of heaven with us.

Owner response: It was an absolute pleasure to have your group there. The thought of folks gathering around the cabin to experience a closeness with God and each other is exactly why I made that purchase. I realize how important it is to escape the trappings of life and get back in touch with creation and each other. Thank you for sharing your prayers while you were there and for taking such good care of the cabin. You blessed us just as the cabin blessed you. See you again. Sharry
Spectacular place with a spectacular view
Spectacular place with a spectacular view
Myself and seven other guys stayed here for our fall golf outing. The golf course at Fall Creek Falls is just a twenty-three minute drive away. We had trouble with the lock box but Sharry took care of that for future visitors. Sharry is a dream to work with and is was very responsive to our needs - not that we needed much except for ESPN, but she has now taken care of that (we're a bunch of UT football fans). Our breakfast chef commented on how well the kitchen was stocked. Each different group that prepared the three dinners had all they needed. The downstairs theater is most comfy. One of our guys reclined and fell asleep for six hours. The ping pong table and air hockey table received a good amount of use. The Koi pond is a very unique addition. Even we fifty-something guys we're entertained by feeding those fish. We spent many an hour on the back deck taking in the spectaculre view and talking foolish. Hilarity abounded do to the company and the serenity of the cabin. It was a most perfect place. This is the kind of place we seek and desire when we gather for our spring and fall golf outings. You'll enjoy and appreciate working with Sharry as much as we did.

We were looking for a cabin with privacy for our large family and this was a perfect place to relax and unwind for a weekend. When we first arrived, our daughter-in-law thought the cabin was the office to check in and I told her, "NO, this is where we are staying!" She was thrilled. Our kids kept thanking us the entire weekend for renting this. We had fun having ping pong tournaments, air hockey tournaments and playing games we brought. The fireplace in the living room provided such a nice atmosphere and everything was there that we needed except, of course, for the food and personal toiletry items. The owner, Sharry, is great to work with and made sure her home made us feel as if it were our home. If you are wanting to make memories in a home with a WOW factor, this is it! We all want to return again.

Owner response: Miss Cindy, Thank you so much for your thoughtful words. We really appreciate having you and your family stay with us and are grateful for the care you gave to the cabin. You were so easy to work with, as you paid close attention to the information you were provided; that tends to lend itself to a much more enjoyable vacation. We look forward to seeing you again and again. Sharry
We found your place through very thick fog on Sat., the 21. We thought we were in heaven once, it was so thick. But once we got there the fog lifted and the sky was so blue, it was unbelievable. There were 9 of us ranging in age from 10 to 82. We were only there for 2 nights but no one got bored at all being so far away from the things most of us are accustomed to. But that was what we were looking for. My 2 grandsons (ages 10 and 11) loved the fish pond. They even named 3 of the fish, We all loved everything about your home. We brought everything we needed and didn't have to leave at all. The pictures are very good ones but just don't do it justice. It was wonderful that every room has a breathtaking view of the Cumberland Plateau. And whoever reads this review, when you get there, just be quiet for a few minutes and listen. Peace and quiet, you don't hear a thing but nature. Thank you so much for sharing your house with us. It was just PERFECT!

We came here with several couples to just "get away" and we couldn't of asked for a better place or owner to rent from! It was just enough off the beaten path but not difficult to get to. The rooms are perfect for couples, singles, or for children. The view is AMAZING. We left wishing we had more time to stay. We will definitely be back!

Simply the best!
Simply the best!
My wife and I came here to escape the hectic pace of our stressful lives, and to celebrate her birthday, and our 30th anniversary! Our primary goal was to relax in a serene, quiet environment, and this property WAY exceeded our expectations. Everything about our stay was first-class. My wife and I have traveled extensively, and seen some nice places, but this beautiful log home tops them all. It is obvious the owner is very dedicated to selecting the best available in everything from location to construction, to amenities and furnishings. And, she is gracious enough to share her spacious, lovely home with you! Here's what we would share as the top reasons we plan to return soon: 1. Beautiful location, tucked in the woods far from the noise of cars and far from city lights. 2. Beautiful views from the spacious wrap-around deck, and from the balcony of the master suite. 3. You can see the stars at night like you've never seen them before. 4. The only sound you hear when you wake up is the babbling brook, and the singing birds. 5. Warmth and coziness of the beautiful log construction, and the beautifully-appointed interior. 6. Perhaps most of all, the charming and caring attitude of the owner. She truly wants you happy. As you leave the highway, you are treated to a wooded, winding road. With each curve and hill, you can feel that you are getting closer to real relaxation and seclusion. When you finally reach the rustic log gate, a teardrop-shaped driveway encircles a beautiful waterful, brook, and koi pond. Fir and oak tree forests embrace the property on both sides. You would never know there are any neighbors. The landscaping is beautiful, with peach trees, flowers, and evergreens. The warm, inviting glow of hewn timbers draw you to the front porch and door. You are just steps away from a fantastic retreat! The lodge features an airy, open main room, with stone fireplace, hardwood floors, and exposed log timbers. Decor is upscale western, with comfy leather couches, and floor rugs. Two bedrooms in the right wing of the lodge, and two more in the left wing, with the kitchen and great room between them. The great room features a beautiful floor to ceiling library and big-screen TV. Up a log staircase is the master suite. It's a wow. King bed, dual walk-in wardrobes, batwing doors to a spacious master bath and shower. And your private gabled balcony overlooking the beautiful Cumberland plateau. It doesn't get any better!

"Plenty & Grace Be to this Place"
"Plenty & Grace Be to this Place"
Well maintained, Fresh cut & manicured lawns, clean linens, floors ...tubs sparkling.. are you getting the picture? A home you would like to move right into and call your own. When you round the corner and see the main entrance gate your stress will leave instantly and you have entered your own sanctuary ! The koi fish pond welcomes you ( make sure you wear shoes the deck can be warm ) with ripples of tails and fish lips eagerly awaiting the " new owners" for the week. Amazing for my child that enjoyed feeding the fish everyday. We will have many family memories from that spot for years to come. Just through the double beveled glass doors awaits you with amazing décor and comfortable furniture and keep walking because all the doors open to the wonderful and amazing back deck that is truly awesome and the best part... the unobstructed breathtaking views as far as the eye can see. Set in a quiet and remote area. Be on the look out for deer that will poke their heads out as if to say hello! Our family of 3 enjoyed this home inside and out, it was hard to pick the spot we liked best. The master bedroom on the top floor has serenity as you look at the koi pond from above. For us this was time away from our busy everyday lives. We were truly amazed on how well maintained and clean this home was. It definitely puts you in a mindset of peace. I would say this is the perfect "Staycation" We would recommend to other travelers: If you need specialty food items that you cannot get from a small town grocer it is best to shop on the way in ad bring your goods in with you. Falls Creek Falls : Hike it, Love It ! many parks in this area to hike, see waterfalls ( even swim in them) so if you are planning on going keep this mind worth the trip ! Bring a camera Lastly, the Owner Sharry is a complete Dream! Talk about a woman who takes pride in what she does. You will not find a nicer person out there. I'm sure of it. She met all of our needs not that we had very many but we certainly like chatting with her. The type of person you tell come on over and have dinner with you ! As if you couldn't tell already we highly recommend "The Lodge" great for all types of gatherings. Words to other travelers behind us : Be Kind , Be Clean , Be Respectful A great big Thank you to Sharry for opening up your home to us. We will have memories from here that last a lifetime and will continue to visit as much as we can. Wish you the best ! Kristin & Family

Owner response: Thank you so much Ms Kristin! It makes us so happy to know that the care we put into making sure our guests are 100% satisfied, is enjoyed and appreciated. As I read your review, I could visualize each thing you said about the cabin. Thank you for putting how it feels to be there into words. Thank you also for taking good care of the cabin; we so appreciate guests who respect what precision, planning, effort and care goes into making it the perfect retreat. Again, thank you so very much for your kind words; you are appreciated. Sharry
The view from the back of this property is the best we have ever seen for a mountain cabin rental in this part of the country. The property is simply stunning, and we loved the expansive back deck with access from every room. The kitchen was well equipped and the outdoor grill was great. The theater room in the basement is very nice (creative idea). This is a quite and private cabin with no road noise or neighbors. The drive to the cabin is very accessible. There is a Walmart not too far away for supplies/groceries. Rock Island and Fall Creek Falls State parks are nearby with some good scenic hikes. A word about the owner - precious :) Hope to visit again someday!

ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW
ALL I CAN SAY IS WOW
This place is awesome. We stayed for our annual Team Tech work retreat and had a blast. The cabin was amazing. We had plenty of room to accomodate our group. Ms. Sharry was very nice and even let us enter the cabin a few minutes early as we arrived ahead of schedule. I can't wait to reserve the cabin for my family and friends to experience to ambiance of the Koi pond.

Lost in the beauty
Lost in the beauty
We stayed here on our very 1st extend family vacation. We definitely got lost in the beauty of not only the house but the surroundings. The cabin was amazing! The only thing that would have made it better would have been a pool case we probably would not have left the entire weekend. Sharry was very helpful and sweet. The only request I would make is soap. There was no dish soap or hand soap anywhere. We can’t wait to stay again! We highly recommend this for large families.

Owner response: Thank you for the nice review. We are so happy you enjoyed the cabin. We try to make it very clear in our agreement and arrival information that all disposable items/toiletries are the responsibility of each guest, so we are sorry if that wasn't clear. We look forward to having you stay with us again. Sharry

About the owner: We are a family owned and operated company. This company was started by flipping houses that were in bad shape and helping families buy them who may not otherwise have been able to afford them or obtain financing. We later grew that into buying struggling small businesses, turning them around and allowing someone else to step in and live their dream. We then discovered the importance of families having safe, clean, affordable, and well maintained properties to stay in while they enjoy that very important family time....hence, our family expanded into the vacation rental business. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction and encourage our guests to let us know what we can do to make certain their time at a Sharry Ile Property exceeds their expectations. Please visit our other properties and join the many families who have made our properties their home away from home. The search has begun for a Florida vacation rental to add to our growing list of properties....stay tuned... People keep asking...'who is in the photo'? From left to right, my daughter Jodi, me with our family pet of 14 years~ Buddy, and my son Tyler on the right. Along with a wonderful and amazing team of family members and friends that are considered family (Phil, Tony, Lori, Mom, Pops, Frank, Suzanne, and Tammy, we operate Sharry Ile Properties.
Why the Owner Chose Fall Creek Falls:
We searched for about two years for just the right cabin. We wanted a cabin that felt like a real log cabin from the moment you drove onto the property; we found it in this one. We wanted a quality built log cabin in a private location yet close enough to activities and necessities; we found it in this one. We wanted a cabin that had breathtaking views and amazing sunsets; we found it in this one. We wanted a cabin that had well maintained grounds for kids to play on yet, the wooded area for beauty and the secluded cabin feel. We wanted a cabin that you didn't feel as if you were going to fall off a cliff to get to it; we found it in this one. We believe in the importance of 'family time' and we wanted a cabin that was large enough to be home away from home for an extended family; we found it in this one. Most of our guests are repeat guests, we believe this cabin is just the right cabin for that special get-away...long or short. We hope to see you soon.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
This cabin is large enough for a family gathering but unique and romantic enough for a private get away for two...This cabin is one of a kind. The view from the full length back deck is breathtaking, morning or evening. The non-stop waterfall at the Koi pond is a favorite spot to relax and unwind as you watch the fish swim. WE DO NOT ALLOW PARTIES OR LARGE EVENTS ON THE GROUNDS!!!
ESCAPE TO TRANQUILITY...
PERFECT FAMILY OR CORPORATE RETREAT!!!
Enjoy the view and the relaxation of the Koi pond, but please no fishing:)
