Come and live in a historic post house! We are offering you a 2 or 3 star holiday apartment with kitchen and shower/WC. You are welcome to enjoy breakfast in this historical building with a beautiful inner courtyard. Your children play in the climbing frame in the garden while you relax. We will be happy to provide you in advance with tickets for ‘Legoland’, only 10 km away. On hot days you can unwind at the Silbersee (“Silver Sea”) with its water play area and good food. There is car parking in the inner courtyard. For cycling enthusiasts there are lots of cycle tracks around Burgau, such as Mindeltal, Kammeltal, Günztal and Danube pathways, the potato tour and Via Julia.

On the first floor is the airy 3 star 50 m² holiday apartment. As soon as you have taken a look at the wonderful view of Burgau castle, take a few steps into the light, comfortably furnished living room with satellite TV. Go straight on into a small fully equipped kitchen with plates, pans, glasses, toaster, coffee machine and kettle, and of course a cooker with 4 electric hot plates and a freezer shelf. Next to it there’s a bathroom with shower, WC, wash basin, hair dryer and cosmetic mirror. From the living room you reach the double bedroom, where there’s a beautifully sculpted iron bed, opposite is a second bedroom with 2 single beds. Both bedrooms can be darkened completely with blinds.

The flat is perfect for two or three. Within 3 hours almost all of Bavaria is available to you. Don't miss the the very local gems like Gunzberg's Marktplatz, or the little chapel on the hill near the Schloss in Burgau, well worth the walk. Elisabeth the host is wonderful and helpful. Take her advice on sites to see. All you need is a good GPS and you are on your way. Most excellent and great value!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Wir haben zu viert am letzten Wochenende kurzfristig eine günstige Unterkunft gesucht. Wir sind im ca. 12 km von Günzburg entfernten Städchen Burgau nahe des Stadtzentrums "gelandet". Als wir von der sehr freundlichen Inhaberin zu unserem gebuchten "Zimmer" geführt wurden, waren wir sehr angenehm überrascht. Wir betraten eine richtige kleine Appartment-Wohnung mit einem gemütlichen kleinen Wohnzimmer und zwei getrennten Schlafzimmern - eines mit einem Doppelbett und eines mit zwei einzelnen. Außerdem gibt es eine richtige Küche mit Kühlschrank (incl. Gefrierfach), Herd, Spüle und Schränken, in denen Geschirr, Töpfe und Pfannen usw. zu finden waren. Ein sauberes Badezimmer mit einer geräumigen Dusche komplettieren die gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Auch bzw. gerade für einen längeren Aufenthalt ist diese Wohnung sehr zu empfehlen. Die angegebenen Preise sind wie angegeben ohne Verpflegung. Für einen geringen Aufpreis pro Person und Nacht haben wir noch Frühstück dazugebucht. Wir haben dann am Morgen einen gut gedeckten Tisch vorgefunden. Am Tag vorher konnten wir noch eventuelle Extra-Wünsche äußern. Wir haben also ein unseren Vorstellungen und Wünschen entsprechendes reichlich gedecktes leckeres Frühstück bekommen. Die sehr freundliche Inhaberin hat es uns an nichts dabei fehlen lassen. Auch für Besucher des nahegelegenen Legolandes ist die Unterkunft gut geeignet, da z. B. auf Wunsch auch Eintrittskarten im Voraus über das Hotel organisiert werden. Alles in allem können wir dieses Ferienhotel gern weiterempfehlen und werden, wenn es uns wieder in die Richtung zieht, auch selbst gern wieder dort wohnen.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.
