We have stayed at the Beach Club for the last 3 years. We love this place! This is our first year renting from this owner (and our first stay in the Avalon). The owner was helpful in answering questions that we had. Everything appeared as listed in the picture. We felt we got a great rate for the place, and we will consider renting from this owner again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay. Condo exceeded our expectations. Nice quiet place to relax, lots of great dinning near by. No problems whatsoever. We plan to return next summer!

My family of 6 just returned from a very enjoyable week at The Beach Club! This condo was very clean, well maintained and tastefully decorated and was accurately descibed in the listing. The owner was extremely easy to deal with and quick to respond to any questions or concerns that I had. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone considering a visit to this beautiful resort! Thank you Warner and family for sharing your condo with us!

This condo unit was very clean and well kept. The 3 of us had plenty of room. The kitchen was very well supplied with cooking utensils, towels and etc. It was nice to a washer and dryer in the unit. The pictures are very accurate. We would definitely like to stay in the unit again. I would recommend this unit to family or friends.

This property was well maintained on our visit during April 2011. There were no issues in the condo that were of concern to us during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay here and love all of the amenities of the Beach Club resort. If you have a chance to go to Lambert's for dinner, the kids really enjoy it! I would highly recommend a stay at this unit. Great for rest and relaxation!

Great Vacation

This was our second vacation at this condo and we were concerned about the bad reviews, but found the unit very clean and freshly painted the owner was very pleasant to deal with. We did express to him that the carpeting was in bad condition and he is planning on taking care of that. We love the location of this unit as it is very private and quiet. Enjoyed a few meals at the restaurant on the property and several places in Foley and Gulf Shores. This unit is reasonably priced and we would not hesitate to return.The Beach Club is a lovely place and very well mantained.

Having read the previous review, we wrote and telephoned this owner prior to leaving home on Feb. 5th about the condition of the unit, receiving no response we assumed the unit was in keeping with the ad and not as described in the review. Unfortunately, upon our arrival we found the unit with delapidated furniture and carpet so dirty we recovered the floor and furniture with the spare linens to avoid the soiled and torn areas. The owner failed to respond to all communication including our suggestion that we find another unit for our stay. Though Gulf Shores and the Beach Club are wonderful areas, this unit should be avoided at all costs until issues of furniture repairs and cleanliness are addressed. Having been a VRBO owner ourselves, our greatest disappointment was the arrogance of this owner.

Owner response:I spoke to this reviewer several times throughout his stay, and he never indicated that he was so unhappy with his vacation. I had my realtor go by the unit on his first night, and she confirmed that the unit was clean. Still, I offered to have my cleaning service reclean the unit during his stay, but the renter declined my offer. I was so confused by this reviwerer's comments, that I personally visited the condominium the week after the review, but nothing was out of order. The condominium was painted and cleaned the week prior to this tenant’s arrival. I strive to keep my renters happy, and I am always willing to go the extra mile to make sure that their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. I thought I had done that for this renter, because during our conversations he gave no indication that he was totally unhappy with my accommodations. Thank you. Warner at vrbo.com/44236

Thank you for sharing your condo with my family. We stayed the week 7-24-10 thru 7-31-10. We had great weather and the beaches where so nice, there was no tar on the beaches. All of the furniture and bedding was comfortable. I was really worried about being on the 16th floor, but the view was great! What great owners to rent from.

We had a wonderful time in this condo. Our family stayed the entire week and felt completely at home. This condo has very comfortable furniture and bedding. The owner was very hospitable and made us feel welcome in his beach home. I would recommend this condo to anyone that is looking for a great relaxing stay at the beach.

Not what I expected from a "Beach Club" unit!

We've stayed at the Beach Club about 10 times. The resort is wonderful and off the beaten path. However, the unit was the worst we have ever stayed in!! I feel the description was misleading stating how nice it was. We took photos of all the damage and reported it to the owner and he never responded or offered a refund. The ceiling was falling down in the bathroom (it would literally fall on your head when in the shower), a pet had peed in the closet and we couldn't put our clothes in there, the furniture was ripped and the stuffing was falling out, the floors and walls needed to be cleaned, & some door knobs were missing. We felt these were all basic things that you wouldn't expect to be wrong in a Beach Club condo!! Very disappointing stay:( We will be back to The Beach Club, just not in this unit!!

Owner response:Response I was very dismayed to receive this complaint. We keep the unit well maintained and make sure that it stays in excellent condition. Unfortunately, there may be instances where something breaks or doesn't work properly during a renter's stay; however, we pride ourselves on making every attempt to immediately rectify any issues a renter may have. This renter stayed in our condominium an entire week without contacting me about any concerns. It was only after she vacated the unit that she sent an email threatening to post a bad review if I did not give her a complete refund for her stay. Immediately upon receiving this renter's email, we inspected the unit, but did not see any of the problems that this renter put in her review. We have a strict "no pet" policy, and there have been no signs of pets in the unit. The furniture is still in great condition, the ceilings are fine as are the walls, the floors, and the door knobs. We consider our unit an extension of our home, and would never rent it in poor condition. We are pleased to report that several tenants have since stayed in the unit with no complaints. We stayed here in May 2009 and had one of the most relaxing vacations we have ever had. You can stay at The Beach Club your whole visit and enjoy yourself. It was nice being away from the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores but still close enough to enjoy the goings on there when ready to. The view of the Gulf is wonderful and the beach was great. The staff there are helpful and friendly. We needed a quiet getaway for a change and we got it.

We had a wonderful stay. The view is wonderful and very relaxing. We especially enjoyed the October weather. The unit is very comfortable. This is perhaps the best value for a luxary condo on the beach.

We had a lovely week long stay. The condo is very comfortable and well equipped. The view of the ocean and beach from the condo's balcony was so nice in the early morning and evenings. We enjoyed having our meals on the balcony. This is a great family vacation place. The owners are very accomodating. Thank you for your hospitality!

We enjoyed two weeks the end of February, 20006, in this beautiful condo. The Beach Club complex and the condo facilities were first rate - and ofcourse, the l6th floor view of the Gulf was gorgeous. The lovely comfortable furnishings and the amenities in the kitchen were top level. We participated in a number of the entertainment activities - such as bocci ball and a beading class - the people were very friendly. The business transaction was smooth and business like with the owner. We hope to return next year.

We just returned home today after staying a week in the above unit. Other than the first few days being cool it was a wonderful week. We were very comfortable in this unit. I fell asleep nightly on the couch it was so cozy.

We had a real nice time, once we got there. Thanks to "Dennis" we didn't get there until Tuesday. Great view from the 16th Floor. It was nice and clean. The Beach Club also had great food in all restaurants. One suggestion I would have is to give the renters a list of items to bring down from home such as Toilet Paper, Bar of Soap, Paper Towels, Hand Soap, Dish Soap, etc. Had a great time. Thanks
