Private, clean, 1000 sf, two bedroom, one bath chalet for daily or weekly rental at the tip of the beautiful Leelanau Peninsula. This very private cottage sleeps six. Fully equipped kitchen and fully furnished living areas. Large deck with umbrella table and six chairs overlooks the wooded site. Short walk to Grand Traverse Bay beaches, tennis court, basketball court and play scape. Kayak, bikes, Weber grills available to renters. Maximum occupancy is 6 people.
A $200 deposit is required to hold the reservation. The remainder of the rental fee will be paid upon arrival.

The Hummingbird Cottage is located in the Cherry Home Shores subdivision, six miles north of Northport and two miles south of the Grand Traverse Lighthouse and State Park. Cherry Home Shores has four parks, 3 hiking trails, 2 beaches, tennis court, basketball court, and play scape. There are many wineries, art galleries, and shops nearby. A new nine-hole Golf Course opened in Northport in 2014. Tucker's is a new restaurant, bar, bowling alley, and arcade which also opened in 2014.

About the owner: My husband and I have been using the cottage as our vacation home for the past twenty-five years waiting for the day we could retire permanently to Northport. That day arrived 2011 when we built our new home across the street from the cottage.
Why the Owner Chose Northport: We fell in love with this area in 1985 and have been vacationing here ever since then. There is so much to see and do in this very beautiful peninsula, walking, biking, wineries, casino, swimming, boating, kayaking to name a few. Spring, summer, fall all the season's offer a beautiful landscape in which to gaze.
