'Casa Caliente' is located in the quiet, safe, gated Pakal
neighborhood which is inside the exclusive gated Playacar Phase II. Our villa shares 2 large pools with 5 other villas along with lush manicured gardens. Casa Caliente is located across the street from #15 Tee Box on the famous Playacar Championship Spa and Golf Club. Our villa is just a few hundred yards from a world class spa and fitness center. A wonderful Bistro is just around the corner, open daily with many cuisine's. A convenience store is around the corner as well. Our home is located 1 mile from the famous 5th. Avenue in Playa Del Carmen with hundreds of boutiques, shops, night clubs, small outside restaurants, fine dining establishments, along with white sandy beaches where you will enjoy scuba diving, snorkeling, swimming, fishing, boating, sailing, windsurfing, parasailing, and jet skiing. You can take a 25 minute ferry ride to Cozumel for the day or arrange to have the shuttle pick you up at our front door to go to Xel-Ha, XCaret, the Mayan Ruins, or Tulum. Our villa sleeps 10 people. The master suite has a king size bed, walk in closet, huge bathroom with double sinks, large shower, and a jacuzzi tub. There is also a terrace off the master suite overlooking the pool and gardens. The other 2 bedroom suites have 2 queen beds each, full baths, and one has a private patio. We have a large TV/reading room with a 45 inch flat screen and a walk out terrace. The main floor has a bar, bar seating, large sitting area (living room), dining room, breakfast bar and fully equipped kitchen with all new stainless steel appliances including dishwasher. A fully equipped laundry room is also included. All sliding glass doors open to the pool and garden area for the wide open air affect. The house also has air conditioning. The main level has a covered outdoor patio eating area which includes seating and a large round table with a fan overhead. It is an amazing spot to sit and relax.

If you are looking for the perfect vacation to relax then this is the place to stay. We have rented through VRBO numerous times before but nothing matched the quality of this villa. Nice and quiet, pool is steps away and yet close to everything. Didn't need a rental car either walked or took a taxi. Renting bicycles is a must for recreation. Taxi was 5 dollars every where in Playa Del Carmen which is great place to just browse. Walmart and grocery stores were within 15 minute walk. Overall just the perfect vacation at the right time and can't wait to go back!!Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

We have utilized vrbo numerous times. This is an excellent rental property! The home is very well maintained, spacious, and well represented in the photos. It shares a large pool with adjacent homes which the kids made great use of. Playacar is very quiet and security is outstanding. The owner is very knowledgeable and attentive. Fifth avenue is a reasonable walk (bring comfortable shoes) or about $7 usd for a one way taxi. We are not much for golfing, though the course is immaculate and highly rated. The OXXO convenience store and a bistro are a block away and came is quite handy. The bistro offerings were hit and miss frankly. We stopped at Sam's to stock up, chedraui probably would have been a better choice given our brief stay and lack of need for bulk items. We purchased a day pass at the reef club which is a fine property and gave the kids a different experience. Can't say I was impressed with the staff there, however. Coba is a nice half day trip, rent bikes there! Akumal seemed overun over the holiday week so we skipped snorkeling. Back to the property... I would highly recommend. Lincoln family of six.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

About the owner: We are a couple from Nebraska and own two homes in Playacar. We can help you with your travel plans, transportation, shopping, and any other needs you may have. We are very familiar with the area and have been vacationing and living in Mexico for 12 years. Our other home is just 2 blocks from this villa and have many friends in the area. What makes this villa special is all the appliances and furniture are new, new paint inside and out, and very safe and quiet. The villa is decorated with hand painted canvas art along with pieces from area artists. Marble floors, granite counter tops, high quality linens, and open floor plan for socializing. Each suite has it's own full bath and air conditioning. At the end of the day no worries, no stress, no problems, just a great time! This Villa is also for sale $499,500USD.
