Property description

This stunningly beautiful and immaculately clean cedar log home has year-round postcard-like views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, yet is only 15 minutes from downtown Asheville. The cabin has every comfort in an ideal proximity to Asheville and WNC.

For those of you who want to be close enough to Asheville that you can easily drop in, but who also prefer peace and privacy in your own little luxurious perch on top of the world, this is your spot!!

The cabin is ideal in its location, its setting, and its comforts. It's absolutely beautiful, very well-kept, nicely-appointed, and immaculately clean. Its open floor plan, walk-out decks, and peaceful setting make it perfect for enjoying and relaxing in the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Everything about this house is well-done, yet nothing's overdone. The cabin has all you'll need and want. The layout is perfect for a large cabin (1,500 sq') that's cozy and inviting, yet open and lives large. Amazingly, the incredible feeling of total privacy is also just minutes from the fun and funk of Asheville.

There's a completely modern and fully-equipped kitchen with an ideal layout for cooking as well as entertaining. The open living room has 20' ceilings, in-wall incredible surround sound, a cozy fireplace, and comfortable furniture. The dining area off the kitchen has a hardwood table and chairs that seat 6 very comfortably. There are two large bedrooms, each with a king bed on the main floor that share a full bath. The fully private master bedroom upstairs with skylights has a queen bed and its own ensuite full bathroom.

The entertainment center boasts 7.1 in-wall surround sound that provides an awesome listening experience. There is a wraparound front and side deck with an outdoor 6-person hot tub, and a secluded back deck off the dining area with gas grill. And, there's a full size washer and dryer, central heat, a/c and large windows with views from every room. It's everything you'd need.

The cabin is perfectly situated for exploring Asheville and WNC! It's an easy 11 mile drive to Pack Square at the very center of Asheville and only takes 15 minutes on well-maintained main roads.

The cabin is in the middle of literally hundreds of world class hiking and biking trails. All are an easy 30 to 60 minutes' drive away, door to trail-head. The Appalachian Trail at Hot Springs is 35 minutes. Great Smoky Mountains National Park; Shining Rock Wilderness, Mills River, Linville Gorge, Mt. Mitchell, Bent Creek, Cold Mountain, etc. are all 40 minutes. The Blue Ridge Parkway is 25 minutes and there are multiple trails off it.

The Biltmore Estate is only 25 minutes away. River rafting/tubing/ kayaking, zip lining, rock climbing, fishing and golfing are 30 minutes or less. Downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing is 35 miles from the cabin. Cherokee is 45 minutes. And cool, laid-back Waynesville is 25 minutes away.

This cabin has it all, in the middle of it all!

This beautiful cabin is located just 10 easy miles from downtown Asheville - so close that you can drop in to the city in minutes. But, what is so amazing is that, while the mountain cabin lies just outside of Asheville, its peace and serenity feels like you're miles from anywhere. So, plan to spend some time at the cabin relaxing in its luxurious accommodations, peace and beauty.

But, you'll also be glad you're so close to Asheville because it is one of America’s gems! Asheville enjoys a beautiful setting, nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, a temperate climate, and a tolerant, diverse people. Asheville has a thriving arts community, numerous outstanding restaurants, local wineries and breweries, year-round festivals, and a multitude of outdoor activities including hiking, biking, kayaking, canoeing, rock-climbing, skiing, snowboarding, and sightseeing.

America’s Largest Home, the Biltmore Estate is only 13 miles away! It is absolutely amazing to behold, and its popularity is well-deserved.

The Blue Ridge Parkway, one of America’s most scenic drives winds through Asheville to Mount Mitchell, the highest mountain in the eastern United States.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is only 30 minutes from the cabin. It is America's most visited national park, and the United Nations has designated Great Smoky Mountains National Park as an International Biosphere Reserve. The Great Smoky Mountains are among the oldest mountains in the world, formed 200-300 million years ago with an unmatched biodiversity.

There is so much to do in and around Asheville, you'll honestly wish you could spend more time here. But one thing that's certain, you'll enjoy every moment you spend at this beautiful and relaxing mountain cabin.

Why the Owner Chose Asheville:
My mountain cabin is a rare find and one that I plan to keep for many years of enjoyment. The cabin is gorgeous, immaculate, serene, and lacks for nothing. It is located just outside of Asheville, NC, one of America's coolest towns. While just 10 miles from downtown, it sits on a mountainside that looks out across multiple ridges of mountains and valleys dotted with farmland and estates. It has the best of all worlds - private in its location, and close to everything that Asheville has to offer!

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
The mountain cabin is at the end of a private road, perched high on a mountainside, with unobstructed year-round views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. River rafting/tubing/ kayaking, zip lining, rock climbing, fishing and golfing are 30 minutes or less. Downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing is 35 miles from the cabin. The Biltmore Estate is only 25 minutes away. Stay one week and receive a free day-pass to Biltmore! Waynesville is 25 minutes. And, Cherokee is 45 minutes. Being just outside of Asheville allows you to feel away from it all but also be right in the middle of everything.
