We spent from December 30 to March 30 at this Condo unit and felt completely at home. The unit is very comfortable and well equipped. The owner and his wife are very personable and attentive. When a couple of minor things went wrong Mike responded immediately and was over to the Condo within an hour or so. If you are looking for a view this one cannot be beat! We sat at the dining room table to eat our meals and watch the dolphins at the same time. On rainy days it was lovely to just sit and relax and watch the ocean (and some of the dog-walkers in the rain). Close to everything - shops Restaurants etc. Very friendly staff - Greg (who cleaned our pool every morning) became a friend during our stay and was always willing to offer advice on the area. The condo building is kept in very good shape. We highly recommend. We will be visiting again next year, the Lord willing.

We had a girls get away at Thanksgiving. We loved the condo it was perfect for us. The unit was clean and had that little extra to make us feel right at home. We loved watching the sunrise over the ocean while having our morning coffee. We shopped alot, ate at the nearby restaurants and then return to the condo to just enjoy the beach. We definately will be planning another trip real soon.

My sisters and I have just stayed a week at One Ocean Place, Unit 109, Garden City for our annual Girls Get Away in November. This unit is a great place to stay, its clean, convenient, spacious with lovely views of the ocean. It was home away from home - a peaceful place to be. The owner of this unit is very nice as well, informative and very helpful with any questions you may have. I did encounter an issue with the parking, but it was all cleared up in a timely manner. We all learn from experiences and yes, we will stay here again... looking forward to it!!

Four older ladies enjoyed 4 days at this condo. Everything very suitable for our stay. The view terrific. Hope another trip to Garden City will be in the near future. I highly recommend this condo.

Much Needed Break

My brother and I reserved this unit for our parents to take a much needed vacation. My parents LOVED IT! They still talk about how large the unit was, the atmosphere, the beach, etc. I would definately rent this unit for our family and friends. The owner was very nice. I had an easy transaction. Thanks again for making my parents feel at home.

Wonderful Vacation Destination and Condo!

We stayed in this unit for five nights in early September, and it was perfect! The two bedroom and two full bath setup was nice for our family of four. It was also nice that both bedrooms and the living area all had tvs. The balcony for this unit is right over one of the pools which was nice so that my son and I could sit and watch my husband and older son swimming right from the balcony. The kitchen was well equipped with more than we could have asked for-coffee maker, pots, pans, blender, etc. It was also so nice to have a washer and dryer in the unit to do laundry as we pleased. There was ample seating around the dining table and two seats at the bar. The unit was very spacious. It was also very clean!! The owners of this unit have thought of everything travelers might need as there was even a pack and play and a changing pad in the unit for infants. There was plenty of closet space and drawer space in each bedroom. We took advantage of the dvd player in the living area and rented a movie from the Redbox nearby one evening. The Conch Cafe next door was probably some of the best seafood we ate while visiting, and it is very convienent and affordable. This unit is on the same level as the parking garage and you can walk directly out to the pool and beach, so we didn't even have to carry all of our beach items down stairs or on the elevator. The pool area and chairs were very clean and well kept along with all of the common areas on the property. The beach here is very nice, clean, and quiet as it was mostly families during our stay. This area is nice as it isn't too built up, but you're still convienent to little beach shops and larger shopping chains. It's a short drive (20mins or less) to Myrtle Beach where you can enjoy shops, rides, or people watching and the Broadway at the Beach where we enjoyed Hard Rock Cafe, Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, and a seafood buffet in addition to visiting the aquarium. I wish we could have stayed longer, but we will hopefully return to this area and this unit in the future. (as a few others have noted, the only addition we would make to this wonderful unit are possibly drapes which could be closed around the blinds as we felt it was very easy to see in the unit even with the blinds closed in the evenings looking from the pool or beach toward the unit-but if this is our only complaint at all, it tells you how great the unit was!)

Great condo! This is the second time I have stayed with my family. It is very clean and comfortable. The owner was very accomidating and easy to do business with. I two young children and having a condo with a balcony on the first floor made me feel very safe, with two little ones and was also very convienent. Great views of the ocean and sunrise in the morning. We will be coming back again next year!

One Ocean Place - Unit #109

The property was well kept. The condo had easy access to the parking garage, pool and beach. Unit #109 was well kept and we enjoyed the condo and the fact that it was on the first floor. The unit's ammenities made you feel like you were at home. It was in front of the pool which made it nice to talk to anyone on the patio of the condo from the pool area. The only change I would recommend would be to add a curtain behind the blinds in the bedroom for better privacy since it is in front of the pool. I would recommend the unit. The condo is right next to the Counch Cafe and this is a great place to eat lunch and dinner!

Wow what a beautiful and great place to stay. The owners were easy to arrange our plans with ;the condo was absolutely gorgeous and very clean. We saw the sunrise from the large balcony every morning , where we had our morning coffee, or kids ate breakfast, We also could watch the children in the pool right from our balcony , and the ocean is steps away. we took morning walks and enjoyed breakfast at sophias. The conch cafe was next to our condo and dinner was fabulous. everything about this property makes it a wonderful vacation.

As usual, this condo was very peasurable to stay in during our vacation in Garden City. The condo is well-kept and has many "extras" that make it homey. It is very spacious and very well located. The view of the ocean is wonderful and access to the pool, deck and beach are near at hand. The price is very affordable as well. I will come back here again when possible and would recommend the condo to anyone wanting an enjoyable place to spend a vacation.

I would recommend this condo to anyone who loves a view of the ocean. Can be viewed from patio or sitting in den. Locate was great,very clean and had everything you could need . And the owner was very helpful with any question I had. talked to him several times before I arrived. Had a wonderful time.

We LOVED this condo! Great location, beautiful and tasteful decor, and the view of the ocean from sitting on the balcony Or from the bedroom Or living room just doesn't get any better. The owners make sure everything is very clean and well stocked. Once we got there, we realized we could have just brought food and clothes and we were set. Great restaurants nearby too, Sara J's one of my favorites! My husband, mother-in-law and I would definitely go back. In fact it's just perfect for a girlfriends get-a-way that I hope to do later this year. Don't waste any more time looking ... this is the one you want!

The owners of the condo are very personable and accommodating. A great place to stay. The last couple of days the weather wasn't so great, but it was so enjoyable looking out of the patio glass all along the back facing the ocean. Very easy access to the beach. Great pools and hot tub. My third time for staying at the condo. Wouldn't want to stay at another place.

I stayed in Mike's unit for 10 days in Feb 2012 and it was a very good experience. Working with him, making payment, obtaining access info, follow-up reimbursement for deposit... he's a trustworthy landlord. The unit was well-stocked, clean and as advertised on the site. I love One Ocean Place as the windows give you a fantastic, 180 view of the ocean. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. The only minor drawback with this unit is that you give up a little bit of privacy since the unit sits just above the pool, and people can look in your living room. On the other hand, if you want to keep an eye on your kids in the pool, it is perfect! I really didn't mind the privacy issue since in Feb there aren't many people around anyway. Thank you Mike and Fran - it was a truly wonderful visit to Myrtle Beach.

We certainly enjoyed our long weekend at your condo. This was our first experience with VRBO and I was somewhat skeptical. Everything was as shown on the listing and as a matter of fact, the condo was actually larger than expected. Your prompt replies to my emails and the return of the security deposit as stated made the transaction very smooth. Hope to visit again soon! Thanks again!

bad weather but good condo

Since the weather was so bad, we stayed indoors a lot. Fortunately, the condo was pleasant, clean, well furnished, and comfortable. We enjoyed ourselves and spent time on the balcony reading and watching the ocean. Mike was easy to work with and I would recommend his condo to my friends.

This condo was a wonderful find. It was well-kept and nicely laid out. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Beautiful views. We stayed at One Ocean Place during Bike Week. We were turned down by other places, who had "weekly rental only" policies - the owners of Unit 109 had a very flexible policy. The condo was very clean and much bigger than it looked online - and it is located in Surfside, which is great if you are a motorcyclist. The covered parking was great with the bikes and the security team was top notch. We hope to rent with you again next year! Thanks!

This was our second year staying in One Ocean Place. We enjoy this condo so much. It is well maintained, clean and well appointed. The owners are courteous and a pleasure with which to do business. It is exactly as pictured and comes highly recommended from this NC family.

Location is excellent and kitchen well equipped. Condo found clean and spacious. Great view. Rental arrangements were smooth. The owner made this experience a positive one. Note to people with mobility challenges that master bath has tub (step over) shower and guest bath has walk-in shower. Thanks for a wonderful stay. Hope to make use of this gem again!

Stayed here Oct 29 -31. This is the best time to be at the beach. Mr. Samra's condo is great. Everything just as advertised. Very clean and because it's on the first floor (overlooking pool and ocean) there is no hassle waiting on an elevator to get to the unit. I would recommend this condo to anyone

What a lovely place to stay! Everything was as stated on website. Mike very friendly and accomodating. Kitchen well-stocked with stainless steel pots/pans. Filtered water from side-by-side refrigerator a definite plus. Absolutely spectacular view - eat your meals inside while enjoying a spectacular view of the beach and ocean - amazing! Very well kept property/building - very quiet and friendly. Would recommend to anyone. In fact we have already booked for next year!

Really enjoyed our month. Liked the getting started things left for us. Linens great. Unit clean. Great size living room. Views wonderful. Would suggest a larger dining table. Would certainly rent again.

Just want to thank you for a great vacation experience! It was so nice to meet you! The condo was well equipped, and it was so nice to have a few essentials to start out with before the trip to the grocery store! The condo was very convenient, clean and accessible to beach, pool and parking. We really like the Surfside/Garden City area because its a family oriented area! Our week vacation was wonderful. My mother has a hard time walking up stairs since her knee surgery and this place was the best. Most nights we could park our car on our room level and the other times I could drive her up and let her out and then go park on another level. It was perfect for her stay and she and my children loved it. She would sit on the balcony and see us in the pool, hot tub or on the beach. This condo was so clean and it's so convenient to shopping and restaurants. Can't wait until next year - my children did not wont to leave this year. Thanks again.

This was a wonderful condo to stay in, it was very clean and modern and the grounds and pools were kept in excellent condition. We liked having tv's in all the rooms and we also liked the first floor convenience to the pool and for parking, no waiting for elevators! We found all the maintenance and security people to be friendly and helpful. This is one of our top picks for somewhere to stay, it's a beautiful area and we will definitely go back. What a great unit for families. You're on the first floor and can park a few steps from your front door. You're also right there at the pool with easy access to the beach. The unit is clean and includes everything you need, from a front-load washer and dryer, to a nice stereo system, three TVs, comfortable living room area and absolutely one of the best views up and down the beach from the patio, which can easily seat five or six people. The pool is directly below you, so you can watch family members swim from the patio. Mike is extremely attentive and is more than willing to answer any questions or tend to any problems. The location of the unit is also ideal. There are terrific restaurants within a 5-minute drive and a great water park for kids two or three miles away, and some of the best golf courses on the strand are also on the south side. We had a great week.

We stayed in 109 Ocean Place two years ago and we were excited to return. The location of this condo is excellent as is the condition of everything inside it. The upgrades made by the owners were very nice. We never thought we'd stay on the 1st floor but this condo is kept so immaculately, we had to return. From dealing with Mike to the condo itself it's superb. We'd highly recommend staying in this condo.

Wow! This condo had everything we look for; very easy access to pool, beach, and parking, with no climbing stairs or waiting on elevators; nice layout with great view of beach and pool; nice newer appliances, everything works just as it should; and perhaps most importantly, we've never stayed in a cleaner vacation rental. Unit 109 of One Ocean Place is an excellent condo. It is very well equipped and maintained in immaculate condition. Without question it is the nicest & cleanest condo that we have ever stayed in. Wonderful views from the main living area, bedroom and balcony with convenient parking and easy beach, pool and hot tub access. Great value - all fees, taxes, linens and towels are included so you won't get nickeled & dimed, as is the case with most rental agencies. Mike was excellent to deal with - checking in and out was a breeze. Once you have stayed here you will want to return.

The condo was very clean, neat and well equipped. The ocean view was great. This is a place we would like to come back.

The condo was such a nice place, very clean and you can't beat the location. Great view of the ocean, big picture windows overlooking the pool, hot tub and ocean. The beach is the best. Mike is very responsive to all my questions and very attentive. He and his wife are so easy to work with. We had a great time and are looking forward to another visit in this condo. Thanks Mike for making our first Myrtle Beach visit a very positive one. Tom and Barbara Fergouson Rock Hill, SC

WOW...what a great place. We've been coming to Myrtle for 20+ years and this unit was one of the best. Felt like we were at home with all the ammenities and cleanliness. Parking not the easiest, but once you're in you'll love it. Check-in a breeze and priced right!
