About the owner: I'm a writer who uses my own house as a retreat, because I'm convinced of its creative and rejuvenating powers to inspire and renew. I spent 20 years as a journalist in the desert working for the local paper, and 4 years working for the desert's convention and visitors bureau. I raised my young family here while producing the best writing of my life. This is the house I intend to retire in one day. For now, it's my second home to share with you.
