Kihei Bay Surf is located directly across from Kalepolepo Beach and Park. The beach stretches for miles - the perfect beach for all activities, including windsurfing, kayaking, canoe paddling, stand-up paddling, surfing, and snorkeling. The grassy park is equipped with picnic tables, barbecue, beach shower, and there is an ocean reef off the beach. Adjacent to Kalepolepo Park is the NOAA Humpback Whale Sanctuary. Whale watch during the months of December to April.

Kihei Bay Surf is an inexpensive condominium complex in a courtyard-style setting. This studio with one bath in a two story-low rise property is suitable for economy-minded adults and offers a pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, barbecue area, and central laundry facilities.
This studio unit with queen size murphy(pull down) bed is smoke-free and includes a queen size sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, air conditioning, a color TV with VCR/DVD Player, CD/Radio player, and digital phone service with long distance to the U.S. and Canada.
Whether relaxing at the large pool or taking in the sun at a beach across the street, Kihei Bay Surf offers inexpensive and comfortable accommodations for up to two travellers.
There are shopping and dining options just a short distance away.
The owners are Maui residents and available if needed during your stay.
Located in Kihei, just north of the shopping malls, restaurants, grocery, drug store, post office, gas and many novelty shops.

Check-in 3:00PM, Check-out 10:00AM
Security Deposit: A damage deposit of $100.00 is due 10 days after booking to secure the reservation. It is separate from the rent. Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after guests leave, if all is in order after departure.
Full Rental Payment is due before arrival. Payments can be made by check, money order, or cashier's check. **Now accepting Paypal and Credit Card payments**
We do not provide daily maid service. This allows you complete freedom, privacy and a secure feeling like a home away from home. There is a $65. cleaning fee added to all bookings. The condo will be clean when you arrive and it will be cleaned after you leave.
C A N C E L L A T I O N S:
An administration fee of $50.00 will be charged for cancellation.
Cancellations If necessary, are required 45 days or more prior to scheduled arrival date. If cancellations are made less than the 45 days prior to scheduled arrival or after scheduled arrival date, payments will be retained. If the unit can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued, less the administration fee of $50.00.

North Kihei is a great location. Centrally located, it is close to the nicest beaches on Maui. The Harbor and aquarium are nearby and there's plenty of shopping close by.

The pool and Bar-B-Q area at Kihei Bay Surf are so well maintained that my children and I often come down from Upcountry to spend the day by the pool. The water is always crystal clear and there are always nice folks to talk to.

Accurate description, clean, convient location for the price and it was great to have beach and bathroom stuff supplied. On the down side: a bit small for two people, kitchen could use an upgrade, and the upstairs neighbors were a bit loud a couple of nights.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway.

This condo is like my home away from home...absolutely love the property and the owner has always been extremely accomodating...It's a great location and the condo itself has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable as possible..steps from the beach and a pool and zaccuzi just steps from the condo...You will not be disappointed!

condo was average. happy to have a place to kick it and it was clean. coulda had 2 boogie boards and snorkels were all broken but 1 pair... and there werent any movies for the vcr/dvd player. it was kinda set up for just one person instead of a couples vacation getaway which is what we needed.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway.

Awesome place to stay. It is everything the owner advertised it to be. The owner was extremely helpful. We liked to go stay at Little Beach for a few days and shower in the condo every few days. This place was way nicer and fancy than we expected and the owner is really nice. I have recommended it to my relatives and friends who are high class people. My friends tell me that they stayed at way less nice places for alot more money.

They must be doing something right, as this was our fifth year. They say that you get what you pay for and for the money and for Maui, Kihei Bay Surf can't be beat. However; not all units are created equall as rregards to there location in the complex or there condition, Our unit was good in both those regards. If you are looking for fancy go to Kananpali or you want nice sand go to the Kamoles and try to avoid the crowds, but if you want relaxed and Maui raw and natural, then any thing in North Kihei.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+.

Thanks Jane. Our rental transactions went smoothly. We had never rented through VRBO before and didn't know what to expect when we arrived. When we arrived we discovered the property to be exactly as described. The condo was clean and had every amenity we could ask for. We enjoyed morning coffee and a home cooked meal each evening on the lanai. We really appreciated the beach towels, umbrella and cooler. We used them every day. The location is perfect and very conveniently located across from the beach at Kalepolepo Beach Park and only a mile from the nearest grocery store. We know a value when we seen one and when we left we knew we would look forward to a return visit. We didn't expect it to be 30 days later. We had the time free but sadly the property was already booked. We will be back for sure. Good home base for a week on Maui. Centrally located to explore all the island. Slept myself and my 2 daughters well and was so nice to be able to make breakfast, lunch and some dinners there. The kids loved the pool and hot tub - often we were the only ones there. Owner communicated very well and was very helpful. Complex was clean and we felt safe the whole time. Little beach across the road was perfect for watching the sunset or just relaxing after a busy day. We had a great stay and hope to come back!

This Condo was perfect for us. Great pool area, great family beach across the street, and a bus stop right outside the complex if you decide to use that mode of transportation, and if not, there is lots of parking. Neighbors are friendly and the condo is clean and spacious.

I stayed in the O'Briens condo from September 10,2007 - October 9,2007..I had the feeling of being home the minute I walked thru the door..The condo was clean and had all the amenities of being home..The neighbors were friendly and helpful...I loved the beach across the street and spent many days there..The shopping was within walking distance and the bus was a plus too!!!The pool area was well kept and uncrowded...It was a very good area to stay and I felt very safe..I really enjoyed my time there and hated to leave..Thanks to the O'Briens for opening up their home to me...Donna
