Kihei Bay Surf is located directly across from Kalepolepo Beach and Park. The beach stretches for miles - the perfect beach for all activities, including windsurfing, kayaking, canoe paddling, stand-up paddling, surfing, and snorkeling. The grassy park is equipped with picnic tables, barbecue, beach shower, and there is an ocean reef off the beach. Adjacent to Kalepolepo Park is the NOAA Humpback Whale Sanctuary. Whale watch during the months of October to April.

You can pay the same price for a room far from the beach areas, but why? When you can have a Fully equiped private studio condo for yourself a short walking distance to a wonderful beach? And as owners, we live on Maui and are available to you for any help or questions you may have.

Kihei Bay Surf is an inexpensive condominium complex in a courtyard-style setting. This studio with one bath in a two story-low rise property is suitable for economy-minded adults and offers a pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, barbecue area, and central laundry facilities.

This studio unit with queen size murphy(pull down) bed is smoke-free and includes a queen size sleeper sofa, a full kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, air conditioning, a color TV with VCR/DVD Player, CD/Radio player, and digital phone service with long distance to the U.S. and Canada.

Whether relaxing at the large pool or taking in the sun at a beach across the street, Kihei Bay Surf offers inexpensive and comfortable accommodations for up to two travellers.

There are shopping and dining options just a short distance away.

The owners are Maui residents and available if needed during your stay.

Located in Kihei, just north of the shopping malls, restaurants, grocery, drug store, post office, gas and many novelty shops.


Policies

Check-in 3:00PM, Check-out 11:00AM

Security Deposit: A damage deposit of $100.00 is due 10 days after booking to secure the reservation. It is separate from the rent. Security Deposit will be refunded within 30 days after guests leave, if all is in order after departure.

Full Rental Payment is due before arrival. Payments can be made by check, money order, or cashier's check. **Now accepting Paypal payments**

We do not provide daily maid service. This allows you complete freedom, privacy and a secure feeling like a home away from home. There is a $65. cleaning fee added to all bookings. The condo will be clean when you arrive and it will be cleaned after you leave.

C A N C E L L A T I O N S:

An administration fee of $50.00 will be charged for cancellation.
Cancellations If necessary, are required 45 days or more prior to scheduled arrival date. If cancellations are made less than the 45 days prior to scheduled arrival or after scheduled arrival date, payments will be retained. If the unit can be re-rented, a pro-rata refund will be issued, less the administration fee of $50.00.

  • I stayed in the O'Briens condo from September 10,2007 - October 9,2007..I had the feeling of being home the minute I walked thru the door..The condo was clean and had all the amenities of being home..The neighbors were friendly and helpful...I loved the beach across the street and spent many days there..The shopping was within walking distance and the bus was a plus too!!!The pool area was well kept and uncrowded...It was a very good area to stay and I felt very safe..I really enjoyed my time there and hated to leave..Thanks to the O'Briens for opening up their home to me...Donna

  • My husband and I stayed in the O'Briens's condo for the third week in November and had a wonderful time. I am very particular to cleanliness and the condo was immaculate! It was hard to believe that we got it for such a bargain price. There was never any disruptions from the adjacent condos and the street noise was very minimal. The pool is large and the hot-tub soothing. Quite often we had the area to ourselves. The tenants are beyond friendly and it wasn't long before we knew many of them. I would highly recommend staying at Kihei Bay Surf. It is a very well maintained, safe and friendly.

  • We had stayed at Kihei Bay Surf five years ago. We didn't seek it out this time, but once we found the VRBO listing, it was absolutely the most economical property that we could find, and believe me I searched for several weeks. Why pay $100 more per night for a regular room when you can such a nice place at Kihei Bay Surf? I was very surprised at how many things were available to us--all major cooking needs, spices, teas and coffees and a coffee maker. My husband drank the flavored Hawaiian coffee every day and I drank the tea. The unit has a dishwasher, full stove and microwave and toaster. There's a grill by the swimming pool. There was a large supply of shampoos and conditioners and even a sewing kit. If you've really got to iron, there's one of those, too. I was especially surprised to find nice folding chairs, sand mats, a cooler, and big fluffy beach towels (nicer than I buy for myself at home). The regular towels provided were very expensive with nice accents, and when we came back for the 8th day, we even had brand new ones. The bed was comfortable and the O'Brians provided a deluxe air mattress because my husband and I sleep in two beds. The patio had a bunch of tropical vegetation growing to enjoy including two different treas with bananas. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and everyone staying in the condo complex are very friendly. The traffic on S. Kihei road can be a bit noisy, especially sirens, but the airconditioner can drown it out; and one sort of takes their lives into their own hands crossing the road. However, cars often just stopped from both ways to let us cross. I highly recommend the O'Brian's condo. I even got my deposit back within seven days. Judy VanEgdom
