Accurate description, clean, convient location for the price and it was great to have beach and bathroom stuff supplied. On the down side: a bit small for two people, kitchen could use an upgrade, and the upstairs neighbors were a bit loud a couple of nights.

condo was average. happy to have a place to kick it and it was clean. coulda had 2 boogie boards and snorkels were all broken but 1 pair... and there werent any movies for the vcr/dvd player. it was kinda set up for just one person instead of a couples vacation getaway which is what we needed.

Awesome place to stay. It is everything the owner advertised it to be. The owner was extremely helpful. We liked to go stay at Little Beach for a few days and shower in the condo every few days. This place was way nicer and fancy than we expected and the owner is really nice. I have recommended it to my relatives and friends who are high class people. My friends tell me that they stayed at way less nice places for alot more money.

Thanks Jane. Our rental transactions went smoothly. We had never rented through VRBO before and didn't know what to expect when we arrived. When we arrived we discovered the property to be exactly as described. The condo was clean and had every amenity we could ask for. We enjoyed morning coffee and a home cooked meal each evening on the lanai. We really appreciated the beach towels, umbrella and cooler. We used them every day. The location is perfect and very conveniently located across from the beach at Kalepolepo Beach Park and only a mile from the nearest grocery store. We know a value when we seen one and when we left we knew we would look forward to a return visit. We didn't expect it to be 30 days later. We had the time free but sadly the property was already booked. We will be back for sure. We've already recommended the property to friends and strangers too; starting with the flight crew on our return flight to the mainland. Mahalo, Ron & Dean

Good home base for a week on Maui. Centrally located to explore all the island. Slept myself and my 2 daughters well and was so nice to be able to make breakfast, lunch and some dinners there. The kids loved the pool and hot tub - often we were the only ones there. Owner communicated very well and was very helpful. Complex was clean and we felt safe the whole time. Little beach across the road was perfect for watching the sunset or just relaxing after a busy day. We had a great stay and hope to come back!

They must be doing something right, as this was our fifth year. They say that you get what you pay for and for the money and for Maui, Kihei Bay Surf can't be beat. However; not all units are created equall as rregards to there location in the complex or there condition, Our unit was good in both those regards. If you are looking for fancy go to Kananpali or you want nice sand go to the Kamoles and try to avoid the crowds, but if you want relaxed and Maui raw and natural, then any thing in North Kihei.

This Condo was perfect for us. Great pool area, great family beach across the street, and a bus stop right outside the complex if you decide to use that mode of transportation, and if not, there is lots of parking. Neighbors are friendly and the condo is clean and spacious.

My husband and I stayed in the O'Briens's condo for the third week in November and had a wonderful time. I am very particular to cleanliness and the condo was immaculate! It was hard to believe that we got it for such a bargain price. There was never any disruptions from the adjacent condos and the street noise was very minimal. The pool is large and the hot-tub soothing. Quite often we had the area to ourselves. The tenants are beyond friendly and it wasn't long before we knew many of them. I would highly recommend staying at Kihei Bay Surf. It is a very well maintained, safe and friendly.

We had stayed at Kihei Bay Surf five years ago. We didn't seek it out this time, but once we found the VRBO listing, it was absolutely the most economical property that we could find, and believe me I searched for several weeks. Why pay $100 more per night for a regular room when you can such a nice place at Kihei Bay Surf? I was very surprised at how many things were available to us--all major cooking needs, spices, teas and coffees and a coffee maker. My husband drank the flavored Hawaiian coffee every day and I drank the tea. The unit has a dishwasher, full stove and microwave and toaster. There's a grill by the swimming pool. There was a large supply of shampoos and conditioners and even a sewing kit. If you've really got to iron, there's one of those, too. I was especially surprised to find nice folding chairs, sand mats, a cooler, and big fluffy beach towels (nicer than I buy for myself at home). The regular towels provided were very expensive with nice accents, and when we came back for the 8th day, we even had brand new ones. The bed was comfortable and the O'Brians provided a deluxe air mattress because my husband and I sleep in two beds. The patio had a bunch of tropical vegetation growing to enjoy including two different treas with bananas. The pool and hot tub are wonderful and everyone staying in the condo complex are very friendly. The traffic on S. Kihei road can be a bit noisy, especially sirens, but the airconditioner can drown it out; and one sort of takes their lives into their own hands crossing the road. However, cars often just stopped from both ways to let us cross. I highly recommend the O'Brian's condo. I even got my deposit back within seven days. Judy VanEgdom
