This beautiful home in on the top of Poipu Crater, thereby allowing breezes all day. Most homes in Kauai don't have air conditioning, so this was very important. The pictures are an accurate representation of how open this house is. There were 2 couples in our traveling party, and we had plenty of space here. The neighborhood is quiet, the back yard is private. The accomodations were comfortable, including the beds, and we had all the ammenties we needed in the kitchen and baths. The beaches are within walking distance, but, with the house being at the top of a small hill, it is easier to have a vehicle if you want to carry chairs, coolers, etc. We felt very at home and comfortable for the week we stayed. I generally don't rent a VRBO without good reviews, and apparently mine is the first on this property. I am glad we took the chance and rented this home.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.
