Sitting on 22 acres of spectacular oceanfront grounds with gardens, koi ponds, beautiful streams, and mountains in the background. The resort is a short walking distance to tide pool, snorkeling, and surfing beaches, restaurants, championship golfing, horseback riding, a world-class spa, and shopping.
The two bedroom / two bathroom condo has plenty of room for a large family or 2 small families. The master bedroom has a large bathroom with shower and separate tub. The second bedroom can be made up with two twin beds or a queen bed. The pull-out couch sleeps an additional two people. The lanai is perfect for watching the gorgeous sunrises and sunsets or just spending time with friends and family after a full day out in beautiful Kauai! The condo has a gourmet kitchen that is fully equipped, if you decide to prepare your meals inside. Enjoy three TV’s, DVD/CD, FREE IN-ROOM INTERNET, and an in-room washer/dryer. There is also a complimentary computer in the resort lobby if didn't bring your laptop. Use the air conditioning or open the sliding doors and your windows to hear the crashing waves.
The resort has a beautiful lagoon style pool, two hot tubs, a poolside grill bar and restaurant and daily activities. Relax in the adult hot tub and watch the whales spout and breach in the ocean or sit in the second hot tub for weekly movie night.
The on-site fitness center has extensive exercise equipment and steam and sauna rooms. There are many barbecues throughout the property for your personal use. The activities center has snorkeling equipment, pool noodles, towels, ice chests, or sign up for the free scuba diving lessons.
The concierge can assist you with all your reservation needs from a sunset/snorkeling cruise to golfing at the award winning Poipu Golf Course; how about kayaking up the Wailua River, a zip line adventure?
The location of the resort is convenient to sites around the island and is dubbed the Sunny side of the island!!! It is an hour drive west to the 'end of the road' past Wiamea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of Hawaii) and a 90-minute drive east and north to Ke'e Beach at the 'end of the road' the other direction. The stops along the way in either direction are delightful!

About the owner: We live in the Seattle area and purchased this time share several years ago. We had originally planned to vacation during the holidays in Poipu as it is our favorite place to vacation however due to work schedules (new job) we have chosen to rent it out.
Why the Owner Chose The Point at Poipu:
This property is friendly, clean, and a fantastic location on the sunny side of the island. It has two separate bedrooms and bathrooms so you could easily have two couple stay here or have kids on one side of the condo and parents on the other giving you both privacy. Love the fact that you have a fully equipped mini kitchen and don't have to go out for every meal. Also there is a washer and dryer in the unit so you can do laundry any time you need to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful and you can't beat the location! We love walking down to the Hyatt for their luau and then driving around the island to find great places to snorkel.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
Fully equipped kitchen, two properties from the Hyatt which is almost twice the price of ours, and you are on the sunny side of the island.
