  My husband and I stayed at Willow Lake for two weeks while searching for a home to purchase. After long days of driving around town, we would relax in the covered porch and watch the changing faces of the lake and listen to the symphony of bird song. This property is well-maintained, cozy, quiet, and peaceful. The community area surrounding the lake is great for dogs or family to romp. A slice of heaven right here in the Asheville area! We'll be back and we will have our friends and family stay here when they come to visit.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  We just spent a beautiful week at this townhome and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a Hendersonville hideaway to experience the true feeling of smoky mountain heaven. Doug and Muriel know how to make you feel very welcomed, providing a well stocked townhome, yet allowing for privacy to feel like 'it is your mountain home away from home'. We so enjoyed the use of the screen porch too on our March week that brought early Spring warm weather. The birds, including the Indian Running Duck, were fun to watch as they played on Willow Lake right in front of the porch.

  Stayed two weeks using this Willow Lake address as our base of operation for a possible relocation. It was perfect. Close to everything we needed to see. The residence was very clean and came with everything you would need and more. Very comfortable, very quiet. We will be back as many times as necessary and can hardly wait for our next trip up. If you rent here you will meet Doug and Murial. Within five minutes we felt as though we had rekindled an old friendship from long ago. We hope to maintain a friendship moving forward. They are worth the trip alone and made a terrific stay even better.

  Willow Lake Town Home is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever rented through VRBO. We were looking for a place to rent for a month, so cleanliness and comfort were our first priority and we certainly found that!! The pictures on VRBO sold us in our initial search, but cannot begin to capture the true essence and serenity of this lake home. The home is very well maintained, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with everything from meal preparation to dinnerware. The screen porch faces the lake and is a heavenly retreat any time of day. We also appreciated having use of the double car garage, particularly on rainy, days and the washer and dryer access in the garage. The property managers, Muriel and Doug Carle are wonderful, very friendly and also helpful when we had questions. The bottle of wine and fresh baked cookies awaiting us upon our arrival were a very nice/thoughtful touch. There are many excellent restaurants (Never Blue is a favorite) in Hendersonville and Asheville is close by as well. There's plenty of shopping in the area and many wonderful parks, hiking trails and waterfalls to enjoy. We especially recommend a trip to Dupont Park which is about 20 minutes from here. We highly recommend this home to anyone, particularly those looking for a quiet and romantic spot. We can't wait to return to Willow Lake!! It's the best "home away from home" you'll ever find.
