What a cozy retreat!
Enjoy a stroll along the ZigZag River, romp in the woody neighborhood or take a moment to relax next to the warming fireplace. For the adventurous, your options are endless. A short distance from the cabin you can hit the slopes, hike, mountain bike or enjoy a nice slice of pizza at the ZigZag Restaurant.
This 1920's era home is set quietly among the cedars. The yard is fenced allowing your dog freedom while you are inside making a meal in the cooks kitchen. On the main floor of this cabin you will find an open living room that has a fireplace and a propane stove giving you optimal heat. The kitchen, dining space, bathroom and two bedrooms are also on the main level. Both bedrooms have queen beds and space to tuck away your luggage.
This home has two modest televisions. You can kick back while watching your favorite show or select a movie out of the home's movie cabinet. On the upper level loft you will find a sitting area. A perfect place for the kids to play a game, color a picture and watch a movie. There is an open walkway that leads to another bedroom where you'll find a twin bed as well as a queen bed.
Whether you stay in or go on an outing, this is a perfect place to call home on your vacation.

This house was enjoyed by all. It has so much character, and lent itself perfectly to our needs. Well equipped and comfortable (beds were comfortable with plenty of extra blankets on chilly days and nights too), I would recommend this spot to anyone and everyone. I'm even thinking of bringing my family back during the summer, I enjoyed it so much! We were very happy with the cabin! It was much roomier than we expected, plenty of space for two couples and our son. We loved the short walk to the river. Thank you, we had a lovely time!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

We stayed at this cabin for 3 days and it was wonderful! It slept 8 people comfortably, was always nice and warm, great fireplace, really cozy and cute! I'd recommend this place for sure.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

The fireplace is delightful place to curl up in front of and play games for hours! This home would be perfect for one family, and worked quite well for the two families we had. The fenced yard was great for our dog. The walk to the river is easy, enjoyable and beautiful.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.

We loved our experience at the Old Smokey Cabin! It was the perfect cabin experience- we loved the wood fireplace and waking up to snow the best. The cabin was clean and was exactly what we were expecting from the pictures. We also had a very good experience with Vacasa. I have already had one friend ask where I found this cabin because of the awesome experience we had. I would definitely recommend the Old Smokey Cabin, or renting through Vacasa at any of their rentals! Also, I would recommend walking down to the near by river, it is not far, you can hear it when you are outside the house, and bring board games to play by the fire!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, sightseeing.
